Here I am back again. I've been doing the SB thing on and off since 2004. I always end up back here bc it feels like home. Life has changed so much for me. I am now a stay at home mom to an almost three tear old son. We wanted a second child but that has not happened so we just adore our son who was a miricale himself. The only thing that is the same is that I want to lose weight. Right now I'd like to lose 22 lbs. that takes me to pre pregnancy and well within ideal body weight.
So here I go again. I know I can do it. I've done it before with the help of friends here. Most probably aren't here anymore but this is home and new friends are here without question.
SPLASH!!! I just jumped back in!

Well here I am. Back in it. It's going okay although I can't give up my grape nuts. I need whole grain or things don't work. Tmi moment if anyone actually sees this. Other than that I am hanging in there and am more challenged by the corn at the BBQ as opposed to the pie.
Keep reminding myself how good it feels to be thin. Distant memory but I know I'll get there!

grapenuts.
I have a similar problem if I don't eat enough raw veg every day.
Welcome. And how many grapenuts are in a SB serving?

If it is the whole grain EFFECT you need and not the grains you are CRAVING, then consider fiber supplements for P1. They'll make things "work" as you say, without the issues that P1 is trying to help you avoid. Best of luck.
