Despite being off track and not exercising much, I'm staying steady. Haven't weighed in for a few weeks, but doing well. Started at 157.6, back down to 157.4. These last 5-10 lb. are difficult, especially when you're not focused!!

Morning! Today I weighed myself and am down to 184.8. I didn't realize it but I started this challenge at 198 so I have reached my 10lb goal. I like this challenge so if it is alright with you guys I would like to stay with it and see how far I get until summer. I hope everyone has a great day! :D

Chris, you are 100% right! And with summer coming on, I should be, but I'm not focused. :?

+.5 from my starting weight. Went on a date with husband last Thursday and did not eat beachy at all, had a dinner party Friday night, and did okay, but quantity was bad, and there was a little dessert too, Saturday with the in-laws... Bad weekend overall, drinking water and trying to get back on track!
Eating beachy since February 2010.

I am down .4 from last week, so still over my starting weight by 3 pounds. Pitiful. So glad some of you are doing great. The rest of us just have to hang in there. I think alot of it is mental. I feel defeated and can't make myself believe I can do this, so I make little effort. Of all things, I have to go for a health screening tomorrow for insurance. Can hardly wait. NOT!

A Big High Five to 4 Dogs!

Yes, stay with us and see what happens-

I am down a pound from last week, but that is still up 2 from my starting point. I keep gaining and losing the same 4 pounds-which if I was thinking of myself as being in Phase III-that would be just perfect. I still want to see some high 130's appear on my scale-so I will keep plugging along. As of today I am recommitting my self to the treadmill. I am going to try for 20 minutes every day.

Yay 4 dogs and to all of us for perseverance!

Exercise is starting to improve and I am "good" sore from yesterday :) Weigh 132, so down 4 from original weight. Gotta keep going and finish my dissertation!!!

I am up .2 of a pound after a horrendous weekend. Back on track this week. Ran twice yesterday for a total of just under 8km and did a 30 minute power walk this morning.

Hey thanks guys for all of the support!
I am proud of you all too. I think that being aware of what you are doing, whether with the program or veering a little off, is in of itself a success. So everyone that has posted is doing a great job.
I have a slight advantage in that my husband is gone a lot so I don't keep anything in the house that might tempt me. I have a lot of free time to go to the gym and I have gym buddies that have a background in teaching aerobics, etc. Oh yeah I also have you guys! :D I am really viewing my way of eating/exercise as a full time job so I think that's why I am seeing results. If DH was here I don't think I would be this far along in this weight loss. (I feel bad saying that but it's the truth!) He says it's neat to see how different I look every time he comes home! (I carried a lot of weight in my face and I guess it was noticeable when I started losing) My body seems to actually gain a little for a few days after I do a heavy weight day, and then drops a few pounds the next week. Very interesting to discover my body has a pattern of loss.

I hope all of you have a fantastic week!

So a lot has happened since I last posted here. first a knee injury then my back went out. I did not eat well at all last week.
Sundays weigh in was 290lbs (sure some of that is swollenness etc.).

Will post tomorrow and try to lose at least 10lbs by june 21is it?

Hugs all,

Up +1 today... I'm really doing well at maintenance at least!

Spring/Summer is actually harder for me than winter. In winter I'm happy to just eat warm chili and such. This is grilling season, with salads and cool treats like ice cream... I probably need to do 2 or 3 days of P1 to get my body back on track, but I just don't have the motivation to do so right now. And even though the scale isn't moving, I've dropped another pants size. Bought a new pair of size 10's this last weekend, and pretty much every pair of jeans I tried on, fit. :D
