Chaddeh - Day 9- 2nd day of P90, it's tough. Diet is still clean though. Shootin for 7 lbs this week!
DCLissa1y - Day 8 - Back to work and back on track! Felt better the rest of the weekend and just rested, definitely think I was fighting off some flu-ish bug. Doing good today and made my meal plan for this week, then YAY the slow return to starches with Phase 2! No weight loss but no gain, so that's what I expected at this point.

Chaddeh - Day 10- Got my butt up and worked out this morning. Staying on track with the eating, the scale will tell come Monday, but feeling strong. Have some business trips that came up today that I'll have to take later in the month that I will just have to be vigilant with my eating while away.

Play-doh - Day 13 - I feel firmly grounded in the beach. I'm not even tempted to mess up and I'll be heading into Phase 2 soon. I still need to squeeze exercise into my weekday schedule. Ugh, it's so hard! Chaddeh, it is hard to eat well while traveling, especially when you'll be focused on work. You can do it! DCLissa, I'm glad you're feeling better. Hang in there!

DCLissa17- Day 10 - doing good. being back at work is a relief because of the structure. There is tons of candy around and pizza tonight, didn't even want any. I love this part of Phase one! Chaddeh, good for you on the exercise! That's the next step for me, get on track with that. Warmer today so going to take a half mile walk with the dog this morning after work and my back is killing me, so want to do the Phase one exercises too....they actually are PERFECT for my particular back issues. I should do them every day!

Chaddeh - Day 12 - cheated a little, had a small portion of brown rice at Dinner. Don't think it will hurt though, phase I is all about just getting rid of the sugar/sweet craving for me. I'll stay strict the next two days, workout, and then come Monday weigh in and see what kind of results I get.... shooting for 7lbs this week. Watched the first two episodes of the biggest loser for inspiration this week. I realized, a couple of the guys on there are in the 280 range, and heck that's only 15 more lbs then me! (well not after this weekend!) :)

Play-doh - Day 15 - Today was my weigh-in and I'm at 144 now. I'm pleased with the 8 pounds lost on Phase 1 and I know I can expect the loss to slow down to probably about a pound a week at most. A pound a week would be nice actually. I just watched the second episode of Biggest Loser too. Wow, the folks on that show are so inspiring!

Chaddeh - Day 13 - Worked out this morning to finish my first week of Power 90. Looking forward to having the day off tomorrow, pretty sore still. 99% clean diet today, I had a small bite of Mardi Gras King Cake. Gonna fire up the grill and have a prime sirloin tonight for dinner.

DCLissa17 - Day 12? - weekends. *sigh* got home this am for "dinner", just had a small chef salad and then fell asleep. Went grocery shopping today after a breakfast of chili, now making pork chops! Doing good, not really any cravings so I call Phase one a success! Chili is great or filling you up like the starches but OMG I will be so glad to start adding back rice and pasta and I am jonesing for some sweet potato fries ;)

DCLissa17 - Day 13 - Working an extra shift tonight. Right up against the end of Phase 1! I have a plan set for next week regarding adding back starches and fruits and to what meals/snacks. Gonna work on making food lists for next week and just pick meals and snacks off the list instead of laying it all out in a template since I don't stick perfectly with a format too well, but I still need some structure. Starting Phase 2 will work harder on getting the exercise in!

Chaddeh - Day 15 - I don't really know what to say.... I worked out hard last week, ate 98% clean, and did not hit my goal for the week... in fact, I actually gained a lb. I never had this happen on my first cycle of SB, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I'm gonna keep my head up, ease into Phase II, and continue my workouts. Might increase my water intake a bit, that's the only thing I can think of that I haven't been as diligent with.

DCLissa17 - Day 14 - Don't worry too much Chaddeh, sounds like maybe with all the workouts you are building muscle, which weighs more than fat so you've probably lost more "fat" than it appears on the scale. Instead of focusing soley on weight, maybe also do body measurements to compare to...waist, hips, etc. At the end of Phase one today--yay! I ate completely clean the whole time and didn't have ANY alcohol. So proud of myself, especially as it was a stressful couple weeks otherwise. Looking forward to a nice beef stirfry for dinner tomorrow night as my first add-in for Phase 2.

Chaddeh - Day 17 - Hanging in there, added back whole wheat tortillas this week. For breakfast I took a whole wheat tortilla, some turkey, and some baby swiss cheese and nuked it in the microwave for a few seconds, and man it was really good! Still working out, having missed one yet. Upped the water intake as well, so hopefully that will help me start shedding some lbs.
