I just discovered books on tape are downloadable through my library. I don't even have to stop there. I've been sinking myself into tales and adventures every day on the way back and forth to work. Love it! (Just another way to "read" your favorites)

Get a spirooli! :) Or give in and just grab a 20% off coupon and go down to Bed, Bath & Beyond and get one there, they have one in the kitchen section...or go in on the $50 one with a few health conscious friends and share it? I'm trying here, buddy, I'm trying!

Lake - I'm with you. I read the reviews on Amazon and I'm not sure I would like the Zombie Pride and Prejudice. My boys are into zombies BIGTIME.... but I don't really care for creepy stuff like that! ha ha

Who is in the Sense you found? I am wondering if I already have it.

THANKSGIVING
Planning ahead.............
The # of thanksgivings that lie ahead for me are getting fewer..........so I will enjoy everything at our big meal.
we also have a tradition of anyone who cares to... comes back Friday and raids the fridge for a meal of leftovers
( in the microwave)

Then I will pack up everything that is left (except a little turkey ) and send it home with them
Small crowd this year, no one from out of town.
I will have more people on Friday than on turkey day.

Virtually , same menu every year ( by request)

Menu
Relish tray veggies and cheese, olives, hummus, etc.
Wine chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, water, juice
Turkey
Stuffing (in the bird .. and veggie )
Cranberry relish
LOTS of mashed potatoes and gravy...yum
Mashed Hubbard squash
Corn /cheese casserole
Steamed frozen green beans from garden w olive oil, red bell pepper, and green onion ( replacing  green bean casserole)
Candied sweet potato ( also a few baked in the skins this year)
DS making homemade bread
DIL bringing pies

Friday I will add a big green salad
Fri .... I plan  to be all South Beach ..

Your tummy is probably happy because of your wonderful yogurt! I've been reading your T-Day menu and it looks good. Can I come? I'm doing the feast on Thursday, along with dinner Wed night and leftovers on Friday. Everyone will clear out of the house on Saturday. Good for you for ditching the green bean casserole. I make it under protest every year ever since my SIL got my kids hooked on it. I don't mind eating it some other time (although those fried onion things don't make my stomach happy!), but not for T-Day.

I picked up my special T-Day farm share yesterday and have lots of orange things - yams, squash, carrots. My sister will bring broccoli and asparagus so that will balance out the colors. Not sure how many of the orange things I'm making, though. All of them would be a little overkill.

You are welcome anytime.......
When I moved back to Michigan my son did a makeover on a cottage for me and I have a little B&B like set up at one end of the house.
Not the optimal time to spend on the lake in Mi, but still enjoyable.
Yes I think my tummy was missing that ativia.
