I am working on my meal plan for the week right now, and will be headed off shopping this evening. I plan on cooking tonight and tomorrow morning and then pre-packaging and freezing meals since I have little to no time to cook.
Things will be different this time. Before I was not ready for a life change, now I am. I also did not have any interest in cooking, yet a few months ago was bitten by the bug and have now been cooking on a regular basis and actually enjoying it! This time I will do it!
The ironic thing is that for my dogs I am SO intent on their health that I have always made my own raw diet for them and am right on top of their weight. YET I haven't been able to do it for myself . . . until now. My dogs are my life. I need to add myself into that category.
My biggest problem in Phase 1 will be the sugar. I am a sugar addict and am allergic to fake sugars so this first phase may be painful. But I'm hoping with the recipes that I have already come across on this message board I will be able to overcome it. I called my journal "Getting Dressed" because for me that is the most stressful and depressing part of my day. And I hope that soon enough I will be like I was 7 years ago and will instead ENJOY picking out my outfits for work and for going out at night
