I'm so happy to hear that you guys are having great results...however I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I feel I have been following the meal plans and avoiding all foods that I am supposed to, but still have only lost 3 lbs and I'm on day 9. Here is a typical day of what I've been eating:
egg white omelet with equivalent of 2-2.5 eggs, with 1/2 cup of veggies in it (for example broccoli, zuchini, mushrooms, and/or red bell pepper), with reduced fat cheese and 2 slices of extra lean turkey bacon
snack: south beach pre-portioned mix of nuts (also i have a cup of decaf coffee with skim milk and 2 splenda mid morning when I get to work)
lunch: salad with 2 cups of mixed greens, lean meat, broccoli slaw, reduced fat feta cheese, and 2 TB balsamic vinagrette
(sometime after lunch i usually have some hot decaf green tea sweetened with a splenda)
snack: 3/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese
dinner: a portion of the meat crust pizza on one of the south beach sites made with reduced fat cheese with 2 cups of steamed vegetables (i.e broccoli, cauliflower)
dessert: sugar free fudgecicle or sugar free jello pudding
this was my typical week 1...i was having major headaches and began to add in 1/3 to 1/2 cup of black beans or garbanzo beans this week. The first three lbs were lost in week 1 but I've been I expected to lose more by now. Any feedback, especially from those of you who are having such great results? I'd really appreciate it.
