Story of my life. I'm pretty "skinny" all around but definitely retain pudge around the tummy.

The only thing that's ever worked for me are 1. regular cardio and 2. reduce all white carbs/sugars

Thought I'd get in on this. My tummy is enormous. Came on after menopause. I also am 50 lbs. overweight. I relate to you bonniejournal, because I cheat like crazy. I am trying to get over that behavior right now. I've gotta keep going with this or some new eating style because I can't waste my life feeling like this with this weight. We can do it!!!

Does anyone have more normal foods for the menus, these SB menus are not in my league at all. I just started again, lost 10 lbs. and then, a few years later I have gained 15 lbs., I need some normal people food for the daily menus. :(

you don't have to use the menus or the recipes in the book at all. homemade chili with appropriate SB friendly lean proteins and beans/veggies make a great P1 meal when combined with a side salad or other veggies for example. There are a whole bunch of recipes linked into the Recipe Summary sticky topic in the Recipe and Food area forum here as well. Just use the food lists and find easy ways to put the foods together in ways that meet the guidelines of the menu planning guidelines document linked into the FAQ topics here and you should be fine. It's really only as complicated as you chose to make it.
