Thank you for your input pstar!

I don't see any reason to delete it really. I am surprised it continues though. I agree that pretty much everyone else has moved on and all that could possibly be said has been said. While this board has it's ups and downs and personalities, I am at least glad we don't send out people to other boards to simply go into attack mode which seems to be happening in several different spots here. I really would like to nip any potential inter-forum nastiness in the bud and just encourage those here to just let it go, smile and be gracious.

Well, maybe it's not fair to state, "at least glad we don't send out people to other boards to simply go into attack mode," which implies - and I'm not saying that it was intentional - that Judy requested various people to come post here.

Communicating in writing is difficult at best. When you mis-speak in a written communication, it's not quickly forgotten, as it might be in a person-to-person conversations, because it's right there for people to read over and over. Added to that, there's no body language to help discern the writer's intentions, so the same words that might sound harmless when accompanied by a facial expression or a gesture, come across far differently than the writer may have intended.

So personally, I'm going to consider much of this thread as a real-world lesson in "how not to communicate in writing" and hope I can apply it to future posts.

you're right, it was a bit of a cheap shot. I do think those on the other board have an incorrect view of this board in total and the many wonderful people here. I think those coming over are just likely doing what many here would do in terms of sticking up for their own. It was an unfortunate situation all around IMO.

ETA: Locking this up to keep things as positive as possible and not continue the sniping.
