I was on South Beach for 4 months lost 30 lbs, never cheated once...
I had a breast reduction and in the hospital when I awoke they gave me toast and said I couldn't leave till I ate it, so ever since I have been off this wonderful plan and eating the way I use too - all junk - Help!
my Operation was May 15th which was 5 1/2 weeks ago. I gained 8 pounds since then and I am upset because I was doing soooooo good,
so today found this message board too help me and I opened up my SB book reviewed it again and wrote down a grocery list and I will start it all over again on Monday. any advice?
I have been trying to do it for the last 3 weeks but I just keep slipping. maybe I just needed too open the book and make a date of it.

pick a date, clean out the house of all the non SBD stuff, go shopping buy what you need and get back on.

Lots of groups seem to form in the P1 forum here. Wouldn't be my thing, but maybe finding a group there to join in and get support from would help as well.

You've done it before... so you know that SBD isn't that hard to follow. It really is just a matter of getting started! I agree with the others... clear your cupboards and set a start date... just START. We'll all be here when you come back to the Beach!

I think you're right to do the prep work. Make your shopping list and plan your first week's meals in advance - making sure you have everything you need to get you through. That way, there's no real reason for you to slip up.
(I'm not talking about excuses - but reasons. Anyone can find an excuse for not doing something.)
Do it - for yourself. You deserve the best - and SB can help you get it.
Welcome back.

Hi there,
I am so glad to see more people being human. I too have had great success on SBD (Lost 75 lbs two years ago) then gained 20 back. Slowly over last 6 months. I can see how easy it is to slip back into old comfort routines. I have been struggling to get more than one day of Phase 1 in a row. Lets keep in touch maybe we can all help to motivate each other.
