And that was this past Sunday -- day 12.
I don't weigh very often. i can get too hung up with that, and so I just weigh now and then. I'd planned to wait until the last day of Phase I but I really got the bug, so went ahead.
This is my 2nd time on the Beach (not counting a gazillion false starts), and I'm finding it sooooo much easier this time. It's easier because:
* I already have a pretty good repertoire of SBD foods we enjoy, so we're eating more that we LIKE and less that we don't like.
* For some reason, it was easier to stay on Phase I and I wasn't desperate for that oatmeal pancake at the beginning of Phase 2. In fact, I'm going to continue to minimize grains and cereals.
* It's easier to do the work of all that food prep. Or, at least, I'm not fighting it so bad. I knew what the diet entailed, and it wasn't just giving up grains and fruit for two weeks -- it's a lifetime of FOOD PREP (which I don't care for, never have).
* In general, I know what to expect -- I was thrilled to have lost the initial 10 lbs., but I know that I can't be losing 5# a week forever.
Anyway, I'm feeling real good about it all.
