How do you find your old journals from years ago

Postby kathynsm » Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:59 am

Hi I haven't been on SBD in about 5 years. I was wondering how to find my old journals from when I was on here before. I would love to see what I weighed then. I am considering starting back again today. I have done a lil bit of everything! Tired of eating sugar and junk all the time.

It might be impossible. This site was down several times and we lost a lot of data, including valuable recipes. At a time everything was wiped out. Good luck searching for old stuff.

But if they are here and you remember your old screen name, you can use the search feature in the upper right corner. Click on the "Advanced Search" option and put in your screen name in the "search by author" field and choose to search in just the Journals forum as well and it will return a list of all the topics/journals articipated. You can go through those until you find the one that was your journal. Or you can try searching on a phrase that you might be unique within the Journals area too. If you use the operator "and" between words then it will search for those occurrences of just those words together. In other words if you search on "mexico and cruise" it will only find those posts where both the words cruise and mexico are there. If you just put in "mexico cruise" it will find all posts with either mexico and/or cruise in the post text.
