Supplement Question

Postby stephanieann » Mon Apr 02, 2012 1:42 pm

I normally take a liquid hair/skin/nails supplement that contains 4 carbs (3 sugars...it's a base of filtered raspberry juice). I've stopped taking it while I'm in Phase 1 just to be on the safe side.
Is this something I can add back in during Phase 2 or should I try to find a different supplement?

I have copntinued taking my supplements - fish oil, fiber, etc. despite the carbs. This is not a low carb diet, and you are not likely to binge on your nail pills! :) Speaking personally, it isn't my supplements that led to my weight gain, so I am not concerned about them as much as I am the Cadbury bunnies and the Doritos.

Good luck.

That's pretty minimal for p2 and unlikely to be a problem, especially if you can take it with food.
My FAQ-- food lists, portion guidelines, etc.

Thanks...yeah, it's pretty nasty and "vitaminey" tasting so I doubt it's going to make me want to guzzle the whole bottle. :)

The setting off cravings thing isn't just for more of that particular food, btw-- high glycemic foods could set off cravings for anything sugary and/or starchy.
