Congratulations Liebly!!!!! I was gone for a while but came back very motivated and now that I see that you reached your goal, I am even more motivated!!!!! Way to go, how is your foot by the way?

I come here all the time and check to see if anyone has returned.....sooooo sad to see this group break up!!!

Ive been doing very bad with eating properly but I'm hopping to get back into it some how.

I sympathize about the breaking up of the thread. Came by at times to check on it. Does anyone know what happened w Suzzi? She quit smoking - at least, attempted to last I remember- and then, just kind of disappeared. I would love an update if you happen to know what she is up to.

I am back! After a couple of attempts this is for real. I am half way in phase 1, I need to lose (again) 20 pounds and tomorrow is my official weight-in, if somebody wants to join me posting here, you are welcome! :D I have a journal but I enjoy the company of other posters here. I miss you so much guys, I was reading the thread and that warmed my heart to see the wonderful support we had. I hope everyone is doing great!

Here I am!!! WOW half way through Phase One.....that is FAB!! I wish I was...I half way thought about it today. We actually did it for 10 days not long ago. As of today I am working part time instead of full, so that should help a lot with PLANNING food. Went to Sams and have so many veggies in my fridge right now it is busting. I just need to think of some good stuff to do with them. I am SICK OF THE WORD ROLL UP!
I want to get creative- it's been a long time.

Hi guys. I too am in need of a tune up. I need to lose about 10 pounds to get back to my low weight of 132 from last summer. The weight for me is not as big as my bloated belly. I've pretty much been eating whatever I want and all 10lbs has landed on my belly. I tried to do P1 a couple of weeks ago but only made it 4 days. Liebly, I too am sick of all the things I ate the first time around and I think that's a problem for me. So, I could use the support too and maybe that would make the difference.
I'm getting ready to go have a laporoscopy this morning because in addition to the bloating I have been having pelvic pain for months. So of course I am hoping this weight i've gained and my big belly is due to a giant cyst that they can remove and i'll come home with a flat stomach and 10 lbs lighter! Oh well, a girl can dream right?

Hey Liebly and Teachermom, I am so happy to see that you are back here, although I wish we were here to share our phase 3 experience! Oh well, sorry about your health issues teachermom, I hope everything goes well with your procedure!
I am also trying new dishes to give some variety to my food. Yesterday I prepared a turkey meatloaf that comes in the book and it was really good! I know there is a good amount of recipes in this site so we should take advantage of it and try new stuff.

I am shocked by the results of my first week! :shock: I lost 6 pounds and almost 2 inches of my belly, that is amazing! I am starting my second week of phase 1 and the best part is getting rid of the cravings, I've been able to sit in front of chocolate, cookies, ice cream and not touching it! that is a big accomplishment for me.

That's insane for ONE WEEK!!! I never EVER lost that much!
Having all the veggies in the house has really helped. I guess I am more of a mindset at this point that if I load up on good stuff most of the time; I can eat junk some of the time because I know I will. I think the other thing that probably helped us all put on a few pounds was that we have constantly prepare food on the Beach and sometimes, well- it gets old!! LOL!!!

But...here we are again! What's everyone eating besides EGGS and ROLL UPS???

I agree with the veggies at home and for me to get rid of must of the junk food (especially chips and chocolate!). This week I was actually surprised that I ran out of veggies in the middle of the week!

My breakfasts are pretty boring right now with eggs (I prepare the miniquiches that are a combo between the recipe in the book and the recipe from joesuzzi), beans and yogurt. For lunch I try to be more creative, I’ve been doing stir fry style meals with different veggies and meats, garlic and ginger but I need to learn other recipes to get more variety. I also tried the turkey meatloaf from the book and I will keep trying new recipes. I have not done any roll ups, are you talking about the ones in the book, which one is your favorite?

Liebly, I see in your signature that you are at 131.5 lbs! wow, that is my dream weight. Last time I managed to get there but I think that my body gets more “stable” at around 134, let’s see how it works out this time.

Keep going and have a great weekend! I’ll weigh in on Mondays so I let you know how I am doing!

My best friend is those BIG bags of cole slaw mix from Sams. I use it in everything. Just now I microwaved it for a couple minutes and mixed it with some WW pasta (more mix than pasta) and a little Chinese chili sauce, LF sour cream and sesame seeds. Sounds gross- but it was killer!

I also make all kinds of salsas with it....mangoes, cilantro, scallions, red peppers etc.

Stir fry it to add bulk to my plate! LOL Put it on stuff we cook out....very good like that esp. wrapped in foil and grilled for a few.

AS FAR AS ROLL UPS..............

I am talking about in Flat Outs loaded with veggies and turkey, usually. But, they get soggy and I get sick of them.

We are getting into making paninis for something different. My DH put TOO many veggie in yesterday and they were drippy. The cucumbers were NOT a good addition- but our dog liked them!! Ha!

I am glad it's getting nice and getting to be Grilling Season- Finally!
