I think it is GREAT that you two are going to buddy up on the exercise thing. What ever it takes to get moving.
Jocie...I have a gazelle too. The first month I started the beach last January I would gazelle myself away while watching TV. I made a deal with myself.....I could only watch TV if I was on the gazelle. It is also kind of fun to shee how far back you can lean while moving on it !

Guess I made the wrong impression.........Hubby & I have been retired for 8 years !
My working stint at the thrift store was only to help out a dear friend during the final 2 weeks of liquidation. I really did enjoy myself but did not have time for much else.
Our "normal" retired life is renovating old run down houses and taking care of our rental properties. Hubby and I have gotten to the point that we can do an entire house without having to use any outside services........so we take our time and really enjoy the work that we do. Plus it gives me a good excuse to find treasures on Craigslist and save money at the same time.

WHERE IS LIEBLY????????????????????????????????????????????? Margot.........YOO HOO ??
Sure hope things are going OK for her.

Kitty...............You should be feeling pretty proud, huh? 3.5 pounds is wonderful !
I know losing is tough for you because of your medications........but girl, you must be doing something right !
I know that I always try not to eat anything after 6 p.m.....it seemed to make a difference in the weight loss department. Keep it up !
Chulita.............I marked my calender for your appointment on the 18th. You are in my prayers girl. Is the pain letting up at all? Don't worry about exercise until you find out what is wrong with you.......don't take a chance on making something worse, OK ? I know how horrible it is to feel the way you are feeling....but eventually they will find out what is causing the pain...............just know that it WILL get better...it just takes time.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((huggs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) (doesn't a mothers hug fix everything?)
Queen-Jean..........I laughed when you were telling about running around the house hooting about how sleek & strong you are going to be ! You have the right attitude ! Do it every day....and definately buy those size 12 jeans and try them on often !
Another trick I did was to tape a picture of myself (the fattest ugliest picture I could find) to the refrigerator.............so when I would go looking for something to eat.........it only took one glance to remind myself that I was NEVER going to look like that again ! Ya gotta do whatever works for you.

I made a batch of cauliflower soup the other day too. I added 1/4 loaf od 2% velvetta, a can of healthy request cream of mushroom soup, a bunch of mushrooms and a jar of FF turkey gravy (?)...not sure why I added the gravy...probably because there was nothing else I could use the gravy for and I was tired of looking at it ! Anyway...it was delicious......hubby wants me to make it again and even the little guy loved it (course I did not tell him that there was cauliflower in it ! LOL
