Ugh!! so close to 20 lbs!! stuck!

Hey everyone! This week is my 2 month mark!! I cant believe it. It seems like it has been so easy. No cravings at all. Nothing that a sugar free pudding cup cant satisfy anyway:)

So,,,I have steadily been losing 2 lbs a week since P2 and now this week, I have gained a lb. Im am down 17.2 lbs. I was so hoping to lose a solid 20 by my 2 month mark, or atleast 19. I have been doing alot of outdoor work this past week and have a lot of muscle fatigue. I think this could have something to do with it. It seems like whenever I strain my muscles too much, I retain some water for a few days. Hopefully this is all it is :oops:

I knew a little stall would come sooner or later, but it sure felt good losing that weight consistently every week.

You're doing great!! That's a fantastic weight loss for two months. We all either stall or have an uptick at some point, so just keep eating your healthy SB way and it will resolve itself. Water retention is a definite possibility, whether from the exercise or just some grains or salty food you've eaten. It's frustrating when you get on the scale, but in the grand scheme of things it's a drop in the bucket :wink:

Shanny, I had the same thing happen to me when I was exercising too hard. I actually went up a tad and then the next week I lost only .8 of a pound. My clothes fit tighter too after just one day. But after some research I found out that when you are exercising hard, you acquire what's called a "pump" effect which basically means that water moves to the muscles and stays a little while to make sure the muscle isn't starved during the exercise. Bodybuilders apparently love to make this happen but it can be disconcerting to those of us who aren't trying to get ripped! lol

It sounds like you are doing so well...don't get discouraged!
