Hi everyone..I have a little bit of baby weight to lose (about 10 pounds) so what would you recommend? Phase 1 or Phase 2?

If you don't need to lose much, they say you can skip p1 and just do p2. But if you find that you're having trouble sticking to it, that may be because of cravings. P1 is very helpful for getting rid of those. (I don't know if people really realize that they have trouble with physical cravings for bad carbs, until they've gone through p1 and seen what it's like to not have them.)
The biggest thing probably is to understand that this isn't a quick fix, but a lifestyle change. Ultimately, learning to live in the p2 style of eating as your new normal is what will keep the weight off.

Yeah, it sounds like you could skip right to P2. Word of caution, though --the less you have to lose, the slower the weight loss, so don't get frustrated if you don't see dramatic drops right away. This WOE is definitely focused on eating healthy and not so much on how many pounds any of us has to lose. I have to remind myself of that when I look at the scale and see myself dropping only a pound or two a week... because I want it all gone now!!!!!! Anyway, welcome!!! Hope you stick around!

Ph2 is where you should start, especially if you are not eating junks before SB.

Good Morning, the book does say you could start at Phase 2 but that would be your call. I did SB for 5 years in the past and then did WW for about 2 years and since Jan this year I went back to the beach because it is a much much healthier way of eating. I just wanted to loose 5 lbs and I preferred to start on Phase 1 for 2 weeks as I did loose 3 lbs but now would like to loose 2 more lbs but I am on Phase 2. If I needed to loose more than 5 I would go back to Phase 1.
Which ever you decide I am sure you will loose, but the most important part of loosing weight is to get some type of daily exercise whether it is running, bicycle,zumba, DVD workout tapes. I find that my running daily and working out with Kettlebells in the evening really helps with my weight and the way I look.
