US nutritional labeling is per serving which is 2 tablespoons.

For sweetz and kimd, the information is collected from various place, the official site's public area, the daily dish newsletters, the various other books put out by Rodele related to SBD like the Good Fats/Good Carbs booklet and various cookbooks etc. It really is very accurate for the current foods.

If you go to the official sites public page for updates here:
http://www.southbeachdiet.com/public/di ... sp?GID=224

Most of them are actually in the two oldest updates from March and June of 2004. Dairy is in the first March one for instance.

I just had a quick question about Crystal Light I know on the revised list it says it's okay to have but how much? Is there a limit to how much you can have? I have given up pop long ago so I don't want that but I get tired of water.

Can you cook jimcama? I mean, is it like a potato when it's cooked?
Is there are limit as to how much meat, veggies, eggs, you can eat?
I've only seen a limit on milk and nuts. Can I eat all the ricotta I want?
I hope to be only half the woman I am today! ;)

What about sushi? They have it at a grocery store here and I wanted to try the ones with the jumbo shrimp and then these other little rolls.

Be careful with the pre packaged store bought sushi..I was reading the label on some my sister brought home and they use cornsyrup..that's a no no..Just read your labels and you will be ablt to tell if it's "ok" or not. Personally I stayed away from them, it took 14 days to get over my cravings and I don't want to have to start over..

I think they make the sushi fresh everyday. I know at Wal-Mart they have the stuff that is frozen but this is at a local grocery store with a Chinese buffet in it and they are the ones that make and package the sushi. But I will be sure and read the labels carefully and I have never eaten it before so I'm not sure if I would crave it anyway....the thing I am most likely to crave is sweets

Sorry, but you can't have sushi at all. You can have sashimi but it's very expensive and just not worth it. I usually eat sushi 2-3X a week and there's no way you can get around it. Way to much rice...
I have to watch my buddies eat it (and Sappora!!) while I have my steak, edamame, salad and water!

Can we have shrimp? I'm in Louisiana and shrimp is in everything. I've been picking them out of foods and eating it, but I just developed these doubts that maybe I'm screwing up...

Wonderful food list. Although same as the book, it doesn't say anything about Harvarti cheese. I've been eatting the light. . . .is this a mistake? I've eatten two different days and only one slice. If someone could enlighten me. Thanks

The guideline for cheeses is that they should have 6 or fewer grams of total fat per 1-ounce serving. If your havarti falls within these guidelines, it's fine!

From the front page of this thread:

SEAFOOD

**All types of fish and shellfish**
Water-packed tuna and other canned fish
Salmon roe
Sashimi

Shrimp is definitely fine! The only thing to worry about perhaps would be the sauces and things it's cooked in, but the shrimp itself is great. Enjoy!

Thanks. I read the package and it's 10 fat for 40 g serving. Something tells me I'm not supposed to be eatting that. What's the convertion from grams to ounces?

I'll have to update my ticker. Is there any reason why I can't continue on Phase 1? Do you lose weight more slowly in Phase !!?
