New to this - Day 2 Ph1

Postby sarnate » Wed May 16, 2012 1:14 am

Hey All,

So today is Day 2 of the SBD Phase 1, I think I'm doing okay except having a real craving for chocolate. Surprisingly I'm not craving breads or anything like that like I thought I would. I've tried many different types of diets in the past and they had worked for me but it seems the closer I get to 40 ( ) the harder it is to lose. I'm frustrated that the same diets now aren't working so here's hoping that this plan is the boost I need to start losing again. How long is it going to take before I stop craving chocolate and other sweets? I know I can have sugar free stuff but trying to stay away from as much of that as I can as I am a sugar addict from way back and I feel if I indulge in these too much I'll sabotage myself and reach for somehting really decadent. Anyways, any advice you all have would be appreciated. I'm determined this time to lose and learn healthier eating habits for life.
Cheers. :D

Welcome! I dont think there is a set time when you stop craving certain things. For me though, it took about a full week. The second week my time of month struck and I had cravings to eat mass quantities of everything. Just stick with it and they will go away without you even realizing it. Till they are gone, just try not to put yourself in situations where you are faced with things that could tempt you:)

Best of luck!
