I DID IT!!!

I reached 10,000 steps today. Here is what I learned. 100 steps was not enough so I turned it up to 200 and I need to find my pedometer

I have to admit ladies, when it was first mentioned to also have a thread here for our group I didn't really think it was necessary. I am admitting publicly I was sooooo wrong. This was a great idea and I thank you.

Now I'm going to lay of the couch and watch the contestants on the Biggest Loser sweat their fat off...and I can do knowing that I've paid my dues for the day. :D

I'm going to go jogging on the indoor track at lunch today. I'm trying to work my way up to a 5K in April or so (once the weather isn't so wicked!)

Way of go CelticGem.

Deb, nice to hear that you enjoyed your yoga class. I have never do yoga before, but I'm sure is fun!

Bostongirl, hope you were able to get some workout during lunch time.

As for me today, I was not able to stay the 2 hours since I had chores to get done before picking son from pre-school at 12:30pm. I did my 30 minutes in the Elliptical and 20 minutes in the Arc Trainer, and worked for about 20 more minutes with different weight machines.

Nice work, Isa! I did get to the gym - had my wrong sneakers (not my running sneaks), so I did 6 miles on the bike in 30 minutes. Worked up a good sweat, burned about 250 calories or so, so I'm happy!

Hi Losers,

Glad to see you have been busy at burning those calories.

Today I worked out to a program called P90X or something like that...it belongs to very fit friends of mine. Anyway...did some cardio plus ab ripping (their term not mine) for a total of 50 minutes.

Found my pedometer *yeah*

Have a wonderfully sweaty day tomorrow :D

10,000 steps completed which includes walking 3 miles with Leslie Sansone. It sure feels good to be done for the day. :D The pedometer is a huge help.

Sorry, I forgot to post yesterday. I did go to the gym and work out for 2hrs as usual. I also did 81 squats, 34 push up, and 75 squats for the 200 challenge. All that I can say is that I am so sore today. I think I overdue my work out and I need to lower my weight machines during the days I'm doing the challenge.

I was not able to go to the gym today, Tommy didn't had school and he was very upset to go to the gym's daycare :( but I did clean the house completely (this, counts as work out, right?) I need to make sure I go to the gym tomorrow, otherwise I will be more sore, than I am right now

Keep up with the hard work!

Well today has certainly been a challenge from a techy point of view. Until very recently, I've been trying to connect to the internet to do some work for a couple of clients. Frustrated doesn't even begin to explain how I was beginning to feel. However, I decided to put the time to good use and instead of sitting here watching it try to connect...I walked...in fact I walk 3 miles so far. So now instead of feeling perturbed...I feel great because I exercised...yeah me! :D

Nice to see you in good pain Isa...lol

Good morning everyone! it's going to be raining all day here, so probably walking with the kids is not going to happen. Arrrg, my WII fitness CD is not working, I might end up doing jump rope, and a few other exercises (I hope is enough, I had weight myself this morning and have lost only 1lb  )
Have a nice weekend losers!

Isa

Great to see that you are looking for alternatives instead of just giving up :) Have you considered getting yourself a workout dvd for these kind of days? I have a bunch of Leslie Sansone walking dvds which I find very convenient because I can pop one in at anytime and off I go. As for your "only 1 lb., now that we are through the first week you should consider 1 to 2 lbs a week a success :)

Keep doing what you are doing...your efforts will be rewarded.

Have a great day!
