Ok, let me start. As I stated above, my name is Isabel. I started SB on Sept 21, 2009 and so far I have lost 11lbs. I should it lost more lbs but I have cheated a few times :oops:

1. What are your 2 goals to be achieved at the end of the challenge (by Dec 13th) be under 200lbs and go down 1 size :)
2. What is your starting weight (optional)? 209lbs
3. What are your measurements (optional)?I haven't measure myself yet. Not sure what do I need to measure (hips, legs, arms, neck, chest and waist????)
4. What are your 2 goals for week #1. I want to loose 2lbs (I haven't been able to loose anything for the past 2 weeks :? )hit the gym 4 times this week and do 2 hrs each dayChoose something that is really challenging but that you know you can achieve. It can be anything from getting your water in, exercising, avoiding temptation, anything that has been a struggle and will use the motivation of this team effort.
5. What is your moto? Don't have any
6. Each week you will get an activity to win extra points. For week #1 it will be: introduce yourself. Please post in this thread.

Hey Gals,
My name is Debbie and I am a 38 year old mother of 2 girls from Sk, Canada. I have been married for 3 years. My girls are 2 1/2 years old and 5 months old. This is my second time around on SB. I did it before after my first daughter was born. I started on SB on Sept 7/09 and have lost 23 lbs so far!! I have been doing very well!!

1. What are your 2 goals to be achieved at the end of the challenge (by Dec 13th) My goal is to lose at least 8 lbs and to lose 4 inches2. What is your starting weight (optional)? 155.5 lbs
3. What are your measurements (optional)? bust-38 3/4", waist-36 1/2", hips-39 1/2", thighs-21 1/2"
4. What are your 2 goals for week #1. I want to excercie 3x this week and decrease my coffee intake

Hello Deb, nice to meet you! I'm not good at names :D sorry.

Yesterday was good. I did not drink enough water, so I need to make sure I work on that.
I just find out that dh is not flying out this week, so it's going to be a bit hard with him around the house (he snacks all day) but I know I can do it :D
In a few minutes, I will be heading to the gym. I'm planning on doing 1hr of cardio and 1hr of weights, let's see how it goes.

Hello Liz, good to see you here!

I'm very positive that this week is going to be good for me, hopefully I can lose some lbs. Thomas has a play date tomorrow and we are meting at McDonalds for lunch and then the park. I'm planning on having a grilled chicken salad.

Good Morning Isabel & Liz,
I had an ok day yesterday and today is ok for eating but my stomach doesn't feel very stable at the moment. I have had a few bouts of nausea in the past week or so and it isn't fun:( especially when I still have to look after my kids. Maybe I'm coming down with something because I feel pretty tired as well. Maybe I can get the girls to nap at the same time this afternoon and I can grab some zzzzzzzs as well:) Anyway, I hope you are doing well - I have done very well with reducing the coffee intake but not so good in the exercise department.......hopefully I feel better later and can do something.
Liz congrats on your wedding!! You are so close to your goal....that is so exciting!!

Hello, yesterday was good for me. I did got a headache, but I think was due to being in the gym for too long and not eating my snack on time. I'm heading to the gym in a few minutes and this time I'm bringing a cheese stick with me to eat it in the car on my way home :D I'm drinking lots of water and feeling great!

Deb, I hope you are feeling better today and able to get a rest. I know how hard is when you have little ones.

Liz, hope you are doing ok.

Good Morning!
Today has started out good for me. Last night the hubby and I had a long talk about how I really need to stay on this plan not just to hit my weight goal but for health reasons. I'm hypoglycemic and I've really been noticing how how much white flour or sugar affects my body. I know you both are in the Sept 21st forum so you know he's in the military and just got home from a deployment - naturally he wants all the delicious bad things that he hasn't had in so long. He's also an incredibly good cook/ After indulging a few times and feeling lousy about it, I decided instead of feeling guilty about saying no to him I needed to talk about it. I think we've worked out a better system and he's on board. Hopefully my body will sort itself out the next couple days. He's a great exercise motivator, though, so that is great!

Isabel, good for you for planning ahead with snacks and drinking lots of water! That's one of my goals for this week so you can be my inspiration!

Hello ladies! I ended up having lunch at Burger King. DS had a play day and we went there for lunch, I had a grilled chicken salad (had 1/2 of the dressing, no croutons, no tomatoes, no carrots) For dinner DS2 school had a fundraising at McDonalds and he really wanted to go and support the school, I felt guilty for taking one to BK for lunch while the other one was in school. So my dinner was a grilled southwest chicken salad (but the salad was not fresh and couldn't even eat half of it)

Today, I'm not sure if I'm going to the gym in the morning or grocery shopping. How is everyone doing?

Hello Ladies,
I am feeling a bit better than a couple of days ago but still not quite myself.I have been doing ok in the eating department (because my stomach doesn't feel right and I don't know what to eat.
My dad is in the hospital so I'm a bit preoccupied today. He was found barely conscious with a blood suage level of 29 (5-7 is normal) and he is diabetic so we're wondering what is going on?? I can't go see him today because my husband is combining and I need to help him move trucks when needed and get him some food. I also have my kids with me as well. I will probably go see him on Monday (he is 3 hours away). He is ok but we don't know what happened.
Anyway, I did find a bit of time to do some yoga yesterday so that felt good and I definitely need to do some todat as well.

I didn't go to the gym yesterday, had lots of thing to do in the house and grocery shopping. I think I did very well this week. I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow, so hopefully I lost a lb :D

Hello Ladies,
I have had an ok couple of days. I'm feeling better and eating well. I may be off line for a day or two. (not sure??) I'm going to see my dad tomorrow and staying a few days. He is ok but tired and his blood sugars still need to be stabilized.
We are back in the field and hopefully done combining this week....it has gone on long enough. Fortunately our neighbors came over today to help out!! We are truly blessed!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Deb, don't worry about the forum, will be here for you when you come back :) take care of you dad and make sure you get some rest.

Last week was great overall. I did go to the gym 4 days and work out 2 hours per day (1 cardio, 1 weights) I also increased my water intake (now drinking 64 oz or more a day :shock: ) However, I was not able to loose any lbs :cry: I'm going to review my diet and see what I'm doing wrong.

My goals for this week:
-- Do at least a total of 300 abs
--Avoid temptation (I have to bake 2 desserts for Tommy's class, and cookies for Daniel's class. In top of that, I'm on that TOM)
--Loose 2 lbs

What are you goals for this week?

Hello ladies, I'm doing ok so far. No chocolate craving yet :D I started my food journaling on Sunday and reviewed what I ate last week and found I been eating beans and green beans for dinner and salads for lunch. So this week I'm eating salads for dinner and and veggies and legumes for lunch. I'm also eating 2 fruits per day at snack time with a yogurt or cheese.
