Starting my period on the BC Pill when you're not supposed t

Postby amyhamilton » Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:40 pm

Okay, I'm new on here and I'm on week 4 of the SB diet, or starting week 2 of phase 2. I've read many things about missing periods, but here's what happened to me. I'm on the BC Pill and started SB at the beginning of my pill pack. I had a period in the 2nd week of my pill pack instead of the 4th week. Now, I'm supposed to start normally this week, but I"m wondering if I'll have another period or not. I did lost about 8 pounds on Phase 1 and I'm a chocoholic, so giving up the sugar was pretty tough for me. In fact, I think I sent my body into a tizzy apparently with this early period. Has anyone else had this problem???

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Give it a few months you will probably get regular again.

I hadnt had a period in 3 years when I started SBD (I have PCOS), Ive now had a period for the last 3 months. 6 months is the longest consecutive time Ive had a period before. So I guess I will see what happens. (Im 30 years old now).

I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but the same thing happened to me. I thought it might have something to do with increased exercise and didn't even think about SBD being the cause. But I do have to say that it really stunk having to deal with it twice in one month! Is there a particular reason why I started early? I hope it doesn't continue to happen each month.

Elaine-- Is this something you have ever seen before?? Do you notice anything else that is different??? (Other than the off-schedule bleeding and diet change) Chronic Bleeding can be indicative of other gynecologic issues
