Amazing!
Female 31, 5'9" or 5' 8 1/2" depending on who's measuring. Now 150-155 lbs.
No, it's not easy. But if the alternative is to be fat....what's it worth to ya?

I have looked at your picture before and all I can say is way to go! You still looked like the same person on your last update, but now you are a totally different person. You look at peace with yourself and alot more confident!! Looking great--- kmac

Thanks so much to everyone that has posted a comment on my before and after picture. I still struggle with my body image. In my mind I am still a 400 pound person. I do not see myself as thin and beautiful (even though my husband tells me that daily). I see myself as an obese person that needs to lose about another 40 pounds. I went and seen a cosmetic surgen this week and I am having my first surgery on October 23. She could not believe that I had lost so much weight and my skin was not streched out worse then it was. She said that will my body type small upper body with large hips and thighs, that I would never be able to get all of my fat off my lower body. She said that I am a perfect match for a tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift and implants( I have worked hard so i am going for it all) She also said that the south beach diet is an excellent diet to be on. I will post more pictures after surgery. My big surgery is Janurary 22nd, it will be about 12 hours and will fix all of the excess skin on my lower body. Once again thanks to everyone. GOD bless and good luck with your south beach experience.
Take on day at a time to reach your goals

Fancy,

I wish you luck on your surgery, I personally think you look amazing you probably don't have more weight to lose. And you do deserve that surgery you've worked hard for it, and there some things you can't lose even after with all the diets and exercising in the world. Try to enjoy your new body and keep us posted with pics after your surgery.

I just wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are to me. You look fantastic!! I can understand your desire for surgery. I have been considering it my self when I get to my goal (at least a tummy tuck). I'll be anxious to see your pictures after surgery and to hear about how it went.
Best wishes

Truly amazing! I'm glad that you're doing what makes YOU feel good in terms of your overall weight loss and your decisions to have cosmetic surgery. I have an uncle who lost over 200 pounds and had some excess skin removed and some lipo for areas he couldn't lose... it made a big difference. It's really great to see how many people on the Board have lost substantial amounts of weight with SBD... you are truly an inspiration to other!
