P1 D14: The verdict is in: 6# in 14 days. :)
(5/14/2004 : 176#, 5/28/2004 : 170#) Still must look regularly at that number, though, to realize that there is still some distance to go.
Now the challenge begins. How to work a small amount of carbohydrates into the mix without overtaking the effort!
My mind is running around with thoughts of "I can finally go over to the neighbor's and have a drink," and "I can finally go out to lunch with a friend." What about the usual Friday night fish fry? That's tonight. Yikes! MUST CHOOSE WISELY! Can't bank points and save it all up for one meal tonight. Moderation is the key. Tenacity will help you reach your goal. Can't give up now. This is the first success I've had in the last 5 years.
Good breakfast: 1/2 cup plain no-fat yogurt with a packet of splenda.
Snack: handful of unsalted almonds.
Lunch: ??
I've not had too much of a problem keeping at task, because I'm really very rarely hungry. That's a good thing. |
