Having a hard time

This is my 11th day and it's the first time I've really had a hard time with the diet. We had a little party for one of our co-workers who is leaving and there was strawberry shortcake there, I didn't have any, but ever since, I've been craving everything! Knowing I've lost 7 lbs is keeping me on track, but it is hard

I'm sorry, I know how hard parties can be with the food sitting right under your nose and you know you shouldn't have it. You did great by not having any, though! I know that doesn't help the cravings go away, but it's true.

Maybe on your way home you can pick up some strawberries (they're sooo good at this time of year) and a can of Reddi Whip and treat yourself to some sliced up berries with a squirt of the light cream. It's not the same, but it's on the same idea and really delicious!

Hang in there -- you're doing GREAT!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I know it's just a matter of a few days before I can begin adding a few things to my menu and I keep telling myself that. It's nice to know that there are others who feel the same way and that the support is there.

I'm sorry, Pauline--I completely forgot that you said you were on your 11th day! I guess strawberries are out for now. But soon!!!
