P2 started today. Lost 6 # on P1.

Snack- about 30 almonds, ( I could never eat just 15 or whatever the heck the limit was...) And a mozzerella lf cheese stick
Lunch- Marinated raw veggies, (accidently ate carrots in it then remembered...) 2 slices 96% ff lunch meat, 2 more cheese stix, sliced cucumbers, water.
Snack- sliced red pepper, BLACKBERRIES, (not sure if low glycemic index food, )Diet rite
Dinner- turkey store italian sausage with spaghetti sauce and mozzerella and some mushrooms
Worked out at curves today! Yay!
question: SHOULD WE LIMIT MOZZERELLA ON P2?
I have 19 lbs left to lose would like to continue losing 3 per week!
When summer comes, I usually eat all day long from boredom. I guess I will have to take more walks, read more books, etc.

Thanks for the encouragement!
I hope I remember everything I ate today- it was alot!!
Fish filet, about 5 wasa crackers all day (probably too many carbs) large sf choco milk homemade, mozzerella sticks, 1 or 2, small fresh veggie salad from outpost, sesame cookie, diet rite, 2-3 glasses of sf kool-aid, eggsalad w/ celery and tomatoes and lite mayo, 2 american cheese singles, (probably not lf) About 20 almonds and some (20?) chocolate chips, semi-sweet, a fudgecicle. 2 slices of turkey lunchmeat.
Tomorrow I will eat more veggies and meats and less sugar free stuff. I just had a lot of sweet teeth today. I also need to drink more water. I took my vitamins and iron today, since I was feeling low energy and blacking out when bending down and getting back up. Hopefully this will help. I think I am forgetting something I ate... I dunno, it's been a long day. 11 school days left!

Thanks, Kelsey, but I've been known to be anemic before. They never said if my bp was ever low, but maybe it is now. Is there something about the sbd that would make it low?

Saturday I went to a wedding. I had chicken, ribs, (not lean by any means!) salad, strawberries, a few chunks of watermelon, a small red potato, a bite of pasta salad, 2 glasses of red wine, 1 glass of champagne. So that wasn't so bad, was it?

I'm feeling better now that I've taken my vitamins a few days in a row, but I was low on vitamins and ran out! I gotta go get some like right now. Tuesday I will weigh myself to see how I'm doing since it will mark the end of my first week on P2.

I am going away for 2 days to my husband's grandparents house. These people are carbaholics! They have things like donuts for breakfast, mac-n- cheese for lunch, corn, mashed potatoes and ham for dinner!!! I am going to feel wierd bringing my veggies and stuff, but I did it before even when I wasn't on the beach, I felt so crappy eating junk food for a whole weekend there before! There will be a lot of family members there. Some of them might even be on the beach!!! They were all Atkins before, but I never thought Atkins was a good idea.
Well, I'm off to pack and buy vitamins!!! I should probably have breakfast first.

Good luck on your weekend. It can be hard around a lot of bad carbs.
Good idea on taking your own food. This is so much better than atkins Im possitive of that.

by your name, i assume you are a teacher w/ 8 weeks or so on your hands like me. my goal is to return to school august 2 w/ a tan in the place of some pounds. something that i am really trying to do is keep a salad made at all times in the fridge so there will always be something accessable and legal!!! i know for me, its the non-structure days that are the hardest, and now that its summer.......

anyway, just thought i would say hi and give you a suggestion even though you didn't ask for one  good luck!!!

Well I am disappointed that I gained 1.5 lbs back in my first week of phase 2. Is eating a couple whole grain crackers and kashi and some berries that terrible that it has now made me GAIN weight??? I wasn't gaining before I started sbd and I was eating like a cow daily everything bad imaginable.
I guess I will have to start exercising. I have been using the rain as an excuse. Also, I keep thinking a few weekend drinks won't hurt, but I guess they have.
I did well on memorial day weekend, don't think I cheated once, except for white wine instead of red and some champaigne and ribs, (bbq & fatty) at the wedding.

The salad idea is a good one.

Well I think I will go find something to eat. I have class tonight and people bring all kinds of chocolate and fatty chips etc. for snacks to share. It's been hard, but I just think what do I want more, and what will last longer...

Hi, Heather! What grade do you teach? Does Iteach2 stand for second grade? I teach first!

It sounds like you're doing a really good job, and I would be flabbergasted if a few whole grains and berries could make you gain fat. I KNOW I'm losing tons of water now during phase 1, so it makes sense that you would retain some during P2.

I'm not sure if being home for the summer is going to make me eat more, or just leave me with some energy to spend on myself instead of my 22 needy munchkins!

I teach seventh grade, and will be teaching 8th, (I think...) next year.
I just meant I teach also, because I saw another teacher with a teachery username. I hope I maintained or lost this week. I will find out Monday! I feel like quitting if I gained again!! But then will I gain like 10 lbs per week if I quit?? Maybe I'll just have to be stricter- whoops more strict- with myself. Water, exercise, etc more. I have decided that writing what I eat daily isn't a big help.
But here's what I had today:
2 mozzerella stix
a diet lemonade and mandarin chix salad from Wendy's, very little vinegarette dressing, and took half the oranges off, since they seem sugary.
I will be very tempted to drink tonight, as my alcohol-loving teacher friends and I are celebrating early the end of the school-year. Maybe I'll have 1 drink then keep filling the glass with water.
today is a Banking time day, so I am working but the students are off of school. I am pretty much done with my work. Kinda bored. If I were at home I'd be eating.

Heather-
Keep up the good work! Even if it seems as though you are losing weight slowly, you are making your body healthier. I like the idea about filling the bottle with water! Don't give up!

thx tiggrr! I am down to 135, (which sounds so much better!!) and I will definitely stick with it. I am glad my huge tub of buttered popcorn at Harry Potter last night didn't affect this morning's weigh-in!!
I think after school is out I will go back to P1 to see if I can lose any faster. But one or two pounds per week is pretty good. I never was on Weight watchers, but i know that is considered a success if you're on ww.

Today I had oat meal, non-instant w/ splenda. It was soooo good! I haven't had real non-flavored oatmeal in a long time! I enjoyed it but was starving by my prep time, 9:09 a.m. So I have eaten lunch already and it is 10:00. Which means I'll be starving during the staff meeting and rushing to make some kind of dinner when I get home. I am out of mozzerella stix and ricotta!! I need to plan better.

Hope carrots aren't THAT bad cuz there are some in my salad mix.

How was Harry Potter? I loved the previous 2-usually went to the matinee's in the middle of the day so I wouldn't all the kids around-feel kind of goofy for being an adult with no kids, watching a kids movie. Luckily when I went to see #2 I was the youngest member in the audience!! It was nothing but adults-we all had a good laugh when we first came in.

Kirk(boyfriend) hasn't seen them, so I've rented the 2 for viewing sometime this week-and plan to see #3 on Friday.

Am sad that the kid who plays Harry, said that this was his last movie as HP.
