3rd Week on P1 - cheated 2 times - Move on to P2??

Ok - I started SBD 3 weeks ago - did great, lost 1 pound the first week (I only have 8 to lose, so I was very happy).

So, I cheated on Mother's Day and ate lots of cake and some corn casserole. So, got back on, did well, but the scale said I had gained 2 pounds. (I'm suppose to get my birth control shot next week, so very bloated).

So, my question is, go on to P2? I'm not sure if this extra 2 pounds will go after I get my shot, or if I need P1 a little longer.

TIA for any suggestions/help! :D

Hello!
If I were you I would say on Ph1 for at least another week, (2 if you can) the first week is usually when the biggest weight loss happens anyway. If you move on to Ph2, your weight loss will be so slow you will give in! Thats my theory anyway. I have been on it nearly a month and lost 5lb, only 14lb to lose so I am happy, but I have been naughty at weekends and drinking too much! I am determined to not drink this weekend!!
SO! stick to it for 2 weeks if you can. It takes 2 weeks for your body to detox from all the bad carbs and fats. Good luck!

I would say move on. I had decided to stay on P1 for three weeks, but for the last week, I didn't see any change at all. The day after I moved to P2 the scale went down two pounds, and then two days later it went down another pound. I think having strawberries as a treat helped me stop cheating with other sweets. Also, your body gets used to certain patterns and can benefit from a change.
