Sorry for all the questions but day one and I am going to do this and I am going to do this right. The chick peas that you toast in the oven is there a specific amount of them you can have per day? Thanks again

because I could eat an entire can over the course of a day - I figure out how many 1/2 cup servings there are in a can before I roast them [drain, rinse, put in a 2 cup measuring cup, count how many 1/2 cups there are] then I divide the roasted chickpeas into that many servings, put in ziplocks, grab and go.

Just rinse and drain canned chickpeas, then spread out on a baking pan... drizzle with a little olive oil and some spices of your choice (salt, pepper) -- or you can mix this all in a bowl, then spread on the sheet and bake at 425 for quite a while. Look in the recipe summary (in the recipe/food forum) and search for "roasted chickpeas" - there are lots of tips/suggestions/ideas for spices, etc.

all beans are 1/3-1/2 cup per serving (before roasting if you are roasting them), but you are allowed more than one serving per day.
