I just sarted this yesterday....Can I eat chilli?

Yes, if all the ingredients are on the P1 list. Tomatoes, onions, peppers, and spices are all unlimited. Lean meat and beans are good, too, but you'll want to limit the quantity (see the FAQ). If you make it yourself using only ingredients on the P1 list, it will be fine. If it's canned or bought at a restaurant or deli, there could be ingredients you don't want - especially sugar (or forms of sugar such as corn syrup), or too much saturated fat.

But in short, yes. Chili is a popular P1 food. There are lots of great recipes posted here - use the "search" function at the top of this page to find them. (You'll probably need to search for different spellings: "chili," or "chile" to find most of them.)

If you go into the Diet and Recipes forum, there's a topic on the first page called Chili Recipes in one place. I printed out the first page of posts (which equated to about 15 paper pages), chose one of the recipes and made some chili last night.
