Yes, if all the ingredients are on the P1 list. Tomatoes, onions, peppers, and spices are all unlimited. Lean meat and beans are good, too, but you'll want to limit the quantity (see the FAQ). If you make it yourself using only ingredients on the P1 list, it will be fine. If it's canned or bought at a restaurant or deli, there could be ingredients you don't want - especially sugar (or forms of sugar such as corn syrup), or too much saturated fat.
But in short, yes. Chili is a popular P1 food. There are lots of great recipes posted here - use the "search" function at the top of this page to find them. (You'll probably need to search for different spellings: "chili," or "chile" to find most of them.) |
