I'm wondering if anyone is having or has had this issue. I'm assuming its b/c Im so heavy but I've lost 16 pounds and I can't tell at all. My clothes dont fit any differently. I dont feel different. Nothing. I started at 259 and am now 243. The only reason I know I've lost weight is b/c of the scale. I guess b/c I"m so heaving it just takes a lot more to notice??

I have lost 24 pounds, started out at 207, and I cant see a difference either. I am just going to keep plugging along and eventually we will both see a difference! :D

My sister had bariatric surgery last summer due to diabetes and related health problems. Although I'd never heard this before, when we were talking to the doctors, they said that you actually lose weight internally before you do externally. They said this is why it's important to lose the 15 pounds pre-surgery, because it allows them more room to safely work around the liver, etc.

So... I'm with you... I've lost 15lbs. so far, and can't really see a difference, but having the knowledge that my organs have a little more breathing room, I feel a little better. :)

The weight might just come off in places that are less noticeable. I've heard people say that often the weight comes off in the face and neck first instead of a clothes size, so you might not feel it that much.
And if you're heavy, maybe a 16 pound loss isn't that visible yet. Just keep going1

At my current weight, I can feel a 5-10 pound difference.

When I started around 280, it took at least 25 pounds to notice anything.

I noticed that the way I gained weight was when I used to wear elastic waist pants and skirts, I didn't noticed I was gaining weight because my clothes still fit, so maybe if you have those kind of clothes you probably can't tell that you lost the lbs. I have a rule now... NO MORE ELASTIC WAIST clothes... that way if I gain any weight I will know immediately. I am sure you'll start noticing soon... Good job and good luck!
