| I have decided I am going to walk everyday starting at 1/4th a mile and working my way up to maybe 2 miles. I cannot afford nor drive to a gym. Can anyone recommend a dvd? I need simple instructions and something to do to music would be great where I could do it in my den in front of the t.v. Thanks again for all the great help. |

| Does walking take care of a TON of excess flab around the stomach and the arm flab where I know from before there will be tons? When I lost all the weight before I had a ton of excess skin on my arms and a TON on my stomach which I know will happen again. Are there any exercises to get rid of it? I would never be able to afford surgery to take care of it but DANG is it ugly. |

camilee,
Weight training or weight baring exercises help to tone and tighting flab. I totally recommend it. Prevention magazine has really great exercises based on weight training. check out their website. |

How about just walking out the door............... :D
If you have an mp3 player, you can listen to that as you walk and eventually maybe throw a bit of running in..... pick some songs that motivate you....
You can not spot reduce, however strength training (at least 3 x weekly) will certainly help to boost your metabolism also and help build lean muscle mass..... |
