Hello all. I'm new to your forum. :D
I'm 25 and getting married to the most wonderful man on earth in August. I've recently been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which in turn, has made me pack on the weight and made it nearly impossible to lose any. Anywho, long story short, I got on the medication I needed to get the syndrome under control and now I'm taking charge of losing some weight.
I just starting SBD last Tuesday (almost one week ago). I'm already down 5lbs. The first couple days were super easy, surprisingly enough. But the last two days have been underbearable... I want to eat. I want to eat whatever I want and not feel so restricted. I keep trying to reassure myself that the strictest and hardest part of the diet is only 2 weeks and I'm already almost through 1 of those weeks, but I want to eat cookies and chips and cake (and I HATE cake). I'm also craving fruit really bad... I think that's been the worst part of phase 1 for me - not eating fruit.
What do some of you eat to stop the mad cravings for things you can't have? |

Don't worry, it'll get better...keep thinking of the end result! I lost 12 pounds in Phase 1, the first few days are hard but it will get better. Are you actually hungry or just having cravings? Check what you are eating, those cravings for cake, etc., should have disappeared by now...is it possible some enriched flour/sugar has made it's way in? You shouldn't be hungry, definitely eat as much as you want of the foods you can have...keep your eye on the prize!!! Good luck!!

| I've been eating salad - lettuce, cucumbers and celery, boneless skinless chicken breast and turkey burger. There hasn't been anything not on the list. I think the craving might be coming from the parties I went to over the weekend - there were cakes, cookies, candy, brownies, etc. So watching everyone else indulge might be where it came from. |
