| Well i got a bunch of food today. Gonna start phase 1 tomorrow. I sure hope I can lose some weight, I am a sophmore in college and need to lose about 60 pounds, 50 would do but 60 would be better. Tired of not being able to get any girls. I hope i can get through this diet, never been a big fan of lettuce or tomatoes so i don't know how hard this is going to be with all the salads your supposed to eat. Wish me luck everybody. |

| Good luck. I wasn't much of a vegetable eater until starting this diet. I am now a convert. Stick with it! |

| Doesn't have to be salads and lettuce and tomatoes. Just need 4.5 cups minimum of any of the P1 veggies per day, roughly broken out as 1/2 cup with breakfast, and 2 cups each at lunch and dinner. Ffor me salads are an easy way to get a lot of volume in and I don't ever really get tired of them, but if you are not big on salads, find other allowed veggies you enjoy. It's not like the veggie requirement goes away in the other phases, so might as well figure out how to get them in early! ;) |

| Yea i'm going to try some different stuff and see if i can't find something i like. Does vegtable juice count? |

| I drink V-8 occasionally but I'm not a huge fan. You should be able to find alot of veggies you enjoy. |

| BTW, ake sure that you get 2 servings [1/2 - 1/3 cup] of beans [kidney, black...] per day. It counts towards your veggie needs and staves off the ches and pains of SB flu. |
