Returning to the Beach on 6/24

Good Morning Everyone. I was on the beach several years ago and left when things got tough at home. I have since tried LA Weight Loss and have lost about 25 pounds on it. I have been stuck at 180 since Christmas and would like to get the last 15 pounds off. So, I am returning to the beach. My start date is on the 24th as the 23rd is my birthday and I know I will be going out for dinner and don't want to sabotage myself before I even get started. Plus I need to pick up the new book and get rid of the food stuff I have in the house now.

Is anyone interested in starting with me next Tuesday? If not, no problems. I'll just keep posting on this thread to keep myself accountable. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say Hi. Hope to get to know all of you. Let's have a good time on the Beach!! :lol:

Just a litle about me (in case anyone was wondering). I will be 52 on the 23rd of this month. I am divorced but living with DBF. I have 2 chldren and 5 grandchildren. I have high cholesterol and and underactive thyroid, and I take meds for both conditions. I have been following LA Weight Loss, sort of kind of, and have been stuck since Christmas at 180. I am hoping that by changing up my eating habits it may trigger the losses again. I am not 100% positive I need to start in Phase 1 but am going to try it and see if I can eliminate any lingering cravings I am having. I was going to start on the 24th but am rethinking that and may just start it tomorrow.

A typical day for me looks a little like this:

B: ff yogurt (Activia Light usually), fruit
L: Salad with cucumbers, carrots, dried cranberries, almond slivers, lf cheese, lf dressing
Sn: Dried apricots
Dinner: Grilled chicken, veges of some sort, applesauce, skim milk
Sn: biscotti and Cool Whip Free

I also drink between 8 and 10 glasses of water a day. I take a multivitamin and calcium tablet daily.

Any thoughts on my eating or where I could tweak it a little? Mostly I am just rambling here. It helps me to see things a little clearer if I put them in writing.
