| I really don't like eating to many veggies, so how can I fit it into my daily meals? I can't see myself eating veggies for breakfast. I like tomatos, zucchini, and broccoli but that doesn't sound good for breakfast lol. |

| You can ease into having veggies with b'fast by making omelettes with veggies in them... quiche and fritattas are great with veggies in them, too. If you just can't get over the idea of having veggies with b'fast you can have them later in the day. Just make sure that you get the minimum of 4.5 cups over the course of the day. Veggies with b'fast, though, really do help with hunger control, digestion, etc. Try eating them at all three meals whenever you can. |

| You might try mushrooms, onions, and/or peppers. You can also have beans and/or salsa (without added sugar). |

| You also have the option of 6-8 oz of V8 or tomato juice instead, if those work for you. |

Honestly?
I don't usually add veggies into my morning meal and I've had no problems losing weight at a healthy rate.
I will sometimes eat raw veggie sticks for breakfast but I don't feel full afterwards and end up with cravings. I have found that a protein packed breakfast gives me a great jump start to the day. This is how my body works and may not be advisable for others. I am also making adjustments as I see necessary but I am under the watchful eye of a Registerd Dietician. |

I have more problems sneaking veggies into my AM snack.
I do the V8 thing at breakfast...... it is an acquired taste but I love it now. pair that with an omlet. Good to go!
Lunch/PM Snack/and Dinner- mostly veggies.
I am just now learning to enjoy sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese for that AM snack. |

| Thanks for all to good ideas. But that V8 I don't think I can do. I tried it once and let just say, it didn't stay in my stomach to long. I will try that mixing some veggies with my eggs in the morning. I am doing ok I think, I have been on SB before and still lost weight even though I ate some things I wasn't suppose too like carrots (which was already in my salad because I buy the premix) and tartar sauce for my fish. But I was still able to lose a lot of weight. I see it as at least I am not eating potatoe, rice or bread so I think I am doing ok I hope. |

| My DH makes the best omellettes and it is not hard. Some of the things he mixes with eggs that taste really good are mushrooms, asparagus (cut into really small pieces), tomato, onions and even broccoli. Another thing that helps is to add a small amount of cheese in the omellette. Mmmmm. |

| I noticed that you like zucchini so I just wanted to tell you how surprisingly delicious zucchini is in scrambled eggs w/cheese (just cut the zucchini into tiny sticks and cook them for a minute before adding the egg). I have it at least a couple of times per week. |

Were in the same boat, I do love my veggies, but not for breakfast lol.
The omelet Idea seems like a good idea though, I'll just have to learn to make omletes in the mornin!
I am thinkin I will be sick of omletes by next week, What are some other things for breakfast that yall eat? I am not even a breakfast eater.
But you know what, Id love a egg, bacon and cheese sammich, is this possible? I know you dieters have some tricks up your sleeves?? |
