| Oh good! The more the merrier. I was just diagnosed with PCOS and I need to get my weight sorted out now. Ive got a long way to go but I figure if we help each other out and keep each other strong we can all reach our goals. |

My mother and I are both starting tomorrow. I want to lose at least 40 pounds.
I just finished shopping for the first 7 days and plan to follow the meal plan exactly.
Are you guys doing any exercise in Phase 1? I want to start walking or something, but don't want to overdo it during the strict phase. |

I just went to the grocery store to stock up on good food. I still had to shop for my husband which included yuck badness but I will stay strong and not eat it. Hopefully anyway.
Armywife: Yes I am going to try to do about 30 min of walking everyday. Its so hot here that I am going to try to do as much as I can. I also rented a walking dvd from netflix that is a 30 minute workout. I will let you guys know how it works out.
Welcome to everyone. Im so excited that there will be so many of us. We can really work to keep each other going. How about we say a little something about ourselves so we can get cozy?
My name is Kate, and Im a 30 yr old student and wife. I need to lose quite a bit of weight. I have been off and on every diet you can imagine and some of them worked really well but I always gained the weight right back. This time I want to do it for good. No starving or fad diet. i really want to get healthy with a realistic eating plan that can last me the rest of my life. |

A little about me:
My name is Corey. I am 26 years old and currently a housewife. I am in the Coast Guard Reserves, but I am on inactive status right now because my husband (Active Duty Army Officer) is stationed in Germany. I have been over my weight limit for the military for quite some time, and I have gained another 20 or 30 pounds since moving to Germany and sitting at home all the time.
My husband was deployed to Iraq last Thursday, which is why I am starting the diet now. I have a job interview on Tuesday, so hopefully, I will lose weight, get a job, and have my life back together by the time my husband gets home in December. |

My name's Vikkie. I work as a commercial property lawyer (although as I work in Local Government, I am not a fully trained solicitor). I am 34 and my daughter is 15yo.
My partner lives with me and I have a great life. Too good, I think. My working life is stressful and find it hard to fit everything in that I want to do. I have a gym membership but over the past 5 months I have hardly been.
I was at what is now my target weight last Summer after doing weightwatchers for 3 months. I have since put it all back on again. Never dieted seriously until I was 32. I was one of those lucky people who get away with eating and drinking anything. I had a lot more active lifestyleback then though and now it has caught up with me.
I hardly have time for a social life these days and this has led to me becoming somehwat of a couch potato when I get home. I am now ridingmy bike to work every day instead of driving and am determined to get back into the gym regularly. I know when I start this plan tomorrow, it is going to be hard...but it just has to be done. GOOD TIMES :) |

Hello, I am also starting on the 16th (or well restarting that is).
I started this diet last year and actually made it through the first two weeks just fine, I lost 7 pounds in those two weeks. Then I went on a business trip and spent most of my day at a convention center with hardly any food choices, plus eating out with my coworkers and I just completely fell off the wagon. I have more to lose now though unfortunately.
I've gained about 40 pounds since I graduated college a few years ago, weight I had actually lost in college so that's my major goal, I'm aiming to lose maybe another 10-20 on top of that so we'll see. |
