First week update

:D I made one whole week without any cheating for falling off the wagon. I can hardly believe it. I stepped on the scales this morning and I'm down 11 lbs :shock: I can't believe I'm not wanting to snack at night. I don't really miss the bread or the fruit. Finding the need for BBQ sauce is one thing. I made the SBD recipe but Not really the taste I'm looking for. I checked my favourite bottle and found it had 14g of sugar. I don't think so :roll:

Does anyone think that this is too much weight in the first week? I have to wonder what week two will do?

CONGRATS! I lost 12lbs on my first week and I felt great. As for it being to much I am not sure. I am restarting on Monday. I have gotten off of it due to having to take care of my father. So I gained most of it back, so I am dreading phase one. But I am determine to make it through phase one.

If you do lose a lot of rapid weight in P1 (and many do not), it is really mostly water weight as your body depletes it's gylocogen stores and associated stored water with it. You will likely find that week two of P1 will not repeat the same results as week one. And P2 is much slower after that, but also much healthier. The purpose of P1 is to break the bad carb cravings, not weight loss. P2 is for fat weight loss, it's just a much slower process.

Hey, congrats!

I am a newby to the site and don't start the plan until tomorrow. It's encouraging to see someone being so positive (not that everyone else is negative :wink: ). Good to see you're not missing the fruit and bread (as that is my main worry).
