Hello everyone. I am new to SB and was not aware that Phase 1 is not for nursing mothers. Anyway...I have been on phase 1 for a week and am going to start phase 2 early because I am still nursing my daughter. I just had a question as to how to go about it. I have lost 6.5lbs in the 1 week of phase 1. I am afraid to go hog wild into phase 2. Any other nursing moms out there or anyone with some good advice feel free to say hello! And a hello to all my new friends I will make in phase 2! Hope everyone has a great day. :D

I just posted the same thing elsewhere. I am starting on phase 2, but I am afraid that it won't work without doing phase 1 to stop my carb addiction.

I'm worried I will be craving so many carbs I will pig out on whole wheat bread and dark chocolate.

don't have dark chocolate or WW bread in the house....solves that one!!! at least until you feel more secure about your control

Seriously, leave off the breads/pastas as long as possible, focus on real grains. I posted an article from Elle Kreiger in general chat today that has some ideas for introducing whole grains, as well as the stickies at the top of this discussion. I think many of us get focused on BREAD as the starch of choice and really...once you go without it for a while...I don't think it's so special anymore! I like to keep ww buns and pita in the fridge or freezer for special meals [rare hamburger or pita chips for guacamole] but I try not to make them part of everyday meal planning.
