Hey all,
I am wondering if it's possible to lose the last 17 lbs of weight by September 1. Is this a healthy amount to lose in 9 weeks? I am 5'2 and in phase 2. I have a wedding I'd REALLY like to look smashing at :-) |

No one can predict how much you will lose. Chances are you will be eating better foods and be healthier though! ;) Give it a shot! But realize it isn't really designed to be a quick weight loss program, or an "event based" program. FWIW, it took me 6 months to lose my last 5 lbs, but I was just living my life eating good foods to support my health. I was never in a race against time to lose weight and get healthy.
So if you want my opinion, no it isn't possible, 2 lbs a week for 9 weeks in a row is an entirely unrealistic expectation, IMO. Feel free to go for it and prove me wrong though! :) |

If you lose a bunch of muscle. But then you won't look smashing.
I would just concentrate on eating the best you can and doing a balanced workout (cardio, strength training, and stretching) so that you can look as fit as possible in that timeline, without focusing on some arbitrary number. |
