Day Two:
Well, starting all over again after this past weekend. Don't you hate it when you run out of legal food and have no money to buy more? I literally had eggs and green beans. That was it. Everything else in my house was either pasta or breaded!! So I had to start over again yesterday after getting some more groceries. But I think I'm good now!! LOL
I couldn't resist and weighed myself this morning. Down one of the four pounds I had initially lost again! Sooo happy!!
I was pleased that it wasn't hard to get back on the wagon after the weekend of splurging, but it wasn't! Monday I was right back into the swing of things!
Well, off to find my breakfast!! |

UGH!!!! I swear, my life is against me! Everytime I start this diet, something comes up where it's impossible for me to keep with it! Tuesday my husband ended up in the hospital and the only thing available for me to eat (because I didn't think to bring any money with me) was a few little packages of Saltine crackers and a cup of apple juice!!
I've actually done pretty good, lost 7 lbs, but it's just sooo frustrating!! I want to keep with it the way I'm supposed to, but life keeps getting in my way!!
Can I scream now? |

Day Five:
I don't like my scale anymore...every other scale I've tried the past week or so has been 5-6 lbs less than what my scale says! Think I'm gonna throw my scale out the window and just use my Mom's on the weekends. Maybe weigh myself each Saturday morning when I go over there. Better than weighing myself and seeing an extra 5 lbs or so!!
Tried the Carb Options pasta sauce last night on my chicken (put some mozzerella cheese on top of the chicken) and it was really good! I was really surprised! I liked it. Now I'm more willing to try some of the other legal stuff out there!! Just have to read the old labels to make sure!
I'm going to have my work cut out for me starting next week. It looks like we're going to be moving across town to a new apartment (finally! no more two bedroom for 4 of us!!), so I'm sure I'll be tempted to cheat!! |

Day Seven:
Yay! One week down!!! I'm feeling pretty good too!! I can't say that I haven't cheated at all, but it's been a lot easier than I thought it would be (especially with all the goodies my kids have hanging around!)! My Mom made boiled ham last night for supper with greenbeans. It was sooooo good! I haven't had that in ages! Going over there today to get some more for lunch ;) Also have to weigh myself over there too. I don't like my scale anymore and refuse to use it. It's too discouraging when it weighs at 5-6 lbs more than all the others!
Going to buy my inspiration suit today too! Hopefully I can find my size. I really need a new swimsuit and this is the perfect motivation!! |

| Bri, your babies are sooo cute! You remind me of me...when my sons were young. I enjoy reading your journal and can totally relate. Good luck and I'll be lurking...reading your progress. |

Day Eight:
I'm soooo excited! I finally fell below the 200 mark!! 199!!! I know it's not much, but it's sooo exciting for me! I've decided, since my scale likes to be mean and weigh at 5-6 lbs more, I've turned it back that much. That way I get a more accurate (and less discouraging) reading.
Had a bad day yesterday. Not foodwise, I was really good about that. But went to get hubby's check at work, and the checks have either been lost or stolen. They were dropped off by Fedex at 11:30 on Friday (by Fedex's records) and now they are nowhere to be seen, and his work can't verify who signed for them. So not good because we ended up having to back out of the apartment we were going to move into :(. I am so upset because I've been telling him for close to a year to find another job because this one isn't worth it and he doesn't make enough. Of course, he didn't listen to me and put it off and now this happens. It's the final straw.
I'm not looking foward to having to tell my oldest that we're not getting the apartment. He was so looking forward to having his own room and the space (not tripping over stuff left and right). It's very discouraging and depressing. So I'm in a bad place right now. Luckily I don't have the urge to eat through it, so that's one good things I guess. |

Day Nine:
Well, pretty down still. It's final. We're not going for that apartment after all so I'm stuck in this small, sucky apartment for longer. I hate this place.
Been doing good with the diet. Haven't cheated hardly at all (just doneness tests to the food I prepare for my family) and have lost around 9 lbs I think. Bought some new jeans last night. I'm right in between sizes, so I opted for the smaller size!
Guess that's about it right now. |

Day Ten:
I'm telling you, if it's not one thing it's another. My son got up this morning and our Directv has been turned off...when the bill is current! Have to wait until hubby gets home from work this afternoon because the bill is in his name. Kids aren't happy. They can't watch Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents (as well as Pooh for my youngest). Thank goodness for dvds. They're watching Shrek right now.
Have to go pick my Dad up at the airport tonight, so hopefully I can find something legal to eat (something tells me that my usual Sabarro's isn't legal...) while I'm waiting. He comes in at dinner time!
I think I'll have eggs this morning (wow, big surprise ;)) and lunch is undecided at the moment!
It's strange. I feel lighter which is a really strange feeling. I'm only about 2 lbs lighter since my weigh in this weekend, but I FEEL lighter. Weird. |

Its good you are sticking to diet and what a bummer about check. Soon things will get back to normal and you can look for another apartment.
9 pounds fantastic. I like your weight gage will love to keep watching as the colored one gets closer and closer to goal.
Really hope check is found and things can start working again.

Day 11:
Well, last night at the airport was a hopeless cause. There were only two places to eat and they were Sabarro's and Dick Clark's AB Grill...and I didn't have $10 to spend on a burger to pull apart AND feed my kids, so I ended up having to share a slice of cheese pizza with my oldest. I was going to just wait until we left, but since my Dad's plane was over an hour late, the old tummy was starting to eat itself I was so hungry! LOL Oh well, I'm still down 10 lbs, so I don't see this as a major set back, and the best thing is that I don't crave it just because I ate it!
Thanks Kelsey for the encouragement!! ;) |

| That what make SBD so great-it teaches you how to eat for you and takes into account real life. You did what you had to at the time. IMO, starvation mode would be worse than eating a 1/2 a slice of Ch pizza- At least you kept your metobolism going. Although it may not be the food of choice you didn't go crazy-enjoy it and move on and make sure the next meal is better. |

Twice Ive decided to eat pizza for special. Both times ate one bite then just finished topping. I plan to go to Pizza Hut with friends Monday. And Im so glad they have a good salad bar. But planning to eat topping off a couple pieces of all meat pizza. Just dont want the crust. They may have to come up with a wheat crust. smile. Keep up the good work.

Day 12:
Yesterday went pretty well. We ended up eating at Wendy's because by the time we got back from picking up my Dad's truck for him, it was already dinner time and no one felt like cooking (nor did we have anything to cook that wasn't frozen!). I just ate my burger with no bun. It was a little less satisfying, but cool all the same. I know what the reward is, so it's not as much of a big deal.
I'm starting to buy material for my dress for the next Ren Faire (next Feb-March), so I definately need to continue on this diet. Depending on what type of fabric I use and how much stretch it has to it will depend on whether the 12 will be too big or too small. I'm hoping for too big and I have to do some altering! LOL
Going to have a mock cinnabon for breakfast I think. Haven't quite decided yet, but it sounds pretty good right now. Lunch I can never plan ahead. It's whatever looks best at the time! |
