I will use this thread to post my foods and exercise daily. I may also vent and tell my struggles :D

Im excited to start my new life using the South Beach Diet :D

Today's Meals

Breastfast-
Canadian bacon
2 Eggs

Snack-String Cheese

Lunch-
Chicken breast
1 slice of reduced fat cheese

Snack-Salad, Cucumber and balsamic Dressing

Dinner-Chicken breast with/ Mushrooms
2 cups of Broccoli

Snack-1 SF jello

Exercise-
30 Minutes on the Elliptical
60 Minutes push-mowing the grass
30 Minute 1-mile walk around the neighborhood


I felt good today not hungry at all but if anyone has any suggestions for meals plz let me know.

Well I was down 1lb this morning!!!! :D :D :D

I know I shouldnt weigh in every morning but I just had to today. Anyways, I just took my thyroid med Im gonna let that do its business and then I will have some breakfast. I definately am hungry this morning but Im gonna try to add some veggies along with my eggs. Hubby is out of town this week so my biggest task will to stick with this and not cheat. I tend to eat horrible when hes out of town on business.

I have a stroller strides class at 11:15am with my 4 month old son so that should be fun and give me lots of exercise :D

It sounds like you have the excercise part going.

I'd try to get some more veggies with breakfast and lunch.

Thanks so much, I will try that.

Well for breakfast I had 2 eggs scrambled with some onion and fresh mushrooms.

For lunch I had 2 chicken breasts with tons of veggies and Swiss cheese on top. It was so tummy and I got it from gym lifecafé.

I went to stroller strides its consists of jogging/walking for 30 minutes and then 30 minutes of strength. It was tons and tons of lunges and squats today eeek! I feel good though!!

Well I did good I went out with 2 friends for dinner. I didnt have a glass of wine I stuck with water :D I also had a grilled chicken breast and 2 cups of broccoli! Go me!!

I ate 1,249 calories today according to sparks!! :mrgreen:
