Hello SBD's

My name is Lisa. I have tried SBD a few times, but this time I HAVE to stick to it. I am very dedicated and have will power. My problem is that if I do not see results, I get very discouraged :( I just looked through the new SBD book. I am looking forward to adding exercise into my daily routine. I will let you know how I do. If I have any questions, I hope you don't mind, but I will be coming to you guys for answers!! Lets try to keep each other motivated. I know that it can help us...alot!! IME, sometimes you just have to eat the right foods in the right proportions simply because it is the right and healthy thing to do, even if there are no immediate or current results. There will always be stretches of time where there are no results. Weightloss isn't a linear process. And of course, P2/P3 is for the rest of your life after you reach your goals and there is no tangible weight loss then either. So you might as well start eating and exercising properly just for the intrinsic worth of it now and you'll be a pro by the time you get into maintenance mode! :) ;)

What he said! I share your impatience. I often find myself wishing that the weight would drop off faster so that I can go pig out on bread and chocolate, but I know it doesn't work that way. :cry: I'm just trying to maximize the number of days I stay 'on plan' rather than maximize pounds lost. The former is the legitimate goal, the latter just follows from achieving the first.
