Snacks question...

I fine that if I don't eat my fruit with my snacks, they may not get eaten (with the exception of breakfast.)

Would it be fine to have 3 small items for a snack? Such as a protein, veggie and fruit?

For example: string cheese, snap peas and a banana for a snack.

The main reason for this is my lunch time varies daily since I go with hubby, and some days I dont get lunch until 5pm because of meetings at work. Such as, on Thursdays Here is my eating schedule:

930: breakfast
1: snack
4:45: lunch
7:30: snack 2
9:30: dinner

It's perfectly OK to eat as many snacks as you need as long as they are from the approved list. For you schedule it makes sense to eat even an extra snack between your 4:45 lunch and your 7:30 snack or as you say, eat a larger snack. It looks like you are making a perfect selection: protein, veggie and fruit :wink:
