If you go to that link, it's recipelover's page of TONS of recipes and they are all listed in categories... there is a TON of muffin ones if you scroll down a bit! |

| And they are good muffins too. I made them once and they were very good. I think I made some apple ones and I can' remember what the other kind was. |

| I like the "one muffin 7 ways." It's AWESOME. I added fresh strawberries and peaches last time I made them, along with some almond and orange extracts. YUM! |

Ooo... would love a muffin but just starting P2 and I'm so worried that the scale will start heading up instead of down - the anxiety is killing me so I think I'll wait on the muffins for a week or two.
...
I do so want this to be the last diet I'm ever on - and that I can relearn how to eat for the rest of my life. I can't stand too much more "dieting" so to speak. I need something I can do until I die - that is relatively easy in regard to "what can I have" if I'm out to eat - on vacation - etc.
This message board is GREAT. Thank you all! |

Carol, I'm pretty sure you'll find what you're looking for in the SBD. I lost a LOT of weight on the diet a few years back and I found it was the easiest way of life, because in phase 3, you don't even notice that you're eating healthy and you are used to all the good foods, and occasional treats.
good luck!! :) |

| There's some good mixes by Southaven Farm http://www.southavenfarm.com/ The ingredients are whole grain and each box comes with muffin and/or bread instructions on the back. All the suggested ingredients used to mix it are SB friendly. There's even a recipe section on their website where people have added different things to the mixes to make various muffins, cakes and breads. Every time I've ordered from them, they were very professional and the mixes were fresh and on time. It was recommended by a fellow SB'er and I'm so glad I tried them. |

I agree with Ditdah above--I have been making the One Muffin 7-ways ever since I first saw it on this site. I do add a little more milk and a little more yogurt. I keep changing the flavors by adding different extracts and flavors of yogurt. I also always add spices, especially cinnamon and nutmeg to most of them. Recently I have also added a small container of unsweetened applesauce.
Here is the link to them (they are listed in the recipe summary mentioned above in the Recipe and Food area of this board)

PS I freeze them and we just nuke them when we want one. I also just wrap one in plastic wrap and take it to work with me. It thaws by the time I have it with coffee for my morning snack. |

| I think it always good to have something not so "restrictive" that you can have because carbs are always more tempting than proteins. |
