| Hi Everyone. Tiffany from Wisconsin, 39, 2 kids, and married. Started SBD 4/28/08. Lost 7lbs on phase 1, but not any more 'yet'. A little frustrating, but I love the food and am for sure hooked! I am so glad I found this forum. I have learned a lot! |

Hi and welcome. 7 lbs is what I lost in phase one too. I've been on on phase two for about 3 wks and I'm down 10-12 lbs total depending on the day and how well behaved I've been :oops:
I'm from Maryland and mom to three not-so-little tax deductions. I'm 40 and married as well.
It's a cool forum. I am definately re-learning my eating habits every slooooow step of the way! I find the hardest part is having temptation in the way. Two of my kids are teenagers and there is just no way to completely clear out the junk food. My youngest is 9 and he'll eat whatever's in the house (he just got annoyed because I finished the last of the salad---weirdo!). The teenagers will bring the junk home :evil: and leave it sitting around. |

| Thanks for the welcome Mrszmom. I also have kids 9 and 13, so I know what you mean. My husband also has not faced the fact yet that we cannot eat like we use to. I do have a few friends at work that I am doing the SBD with. That helps with accountability. They seem to be loosing a lot faster and/or more than me though. | Hi ladies. I started april 8 and have lost 12 depending on the day funny but true. I am 48 and have 3 kids 24, 22 and 4 big drop....the little one is why I cook still. I have really tough days with the older ones as well with what they bring in and leave around. I found myself chomping on a piece of day ond pizza left on the table in the morning had to force myself to throw it out. some days are easier than others for me but I have to look at how I feel with the less pounds...have more to go but will hang in. glad you guys are here my old chat seems to be fizzling out. |
