Today is my second day on PH1, and I feel good. I started yesterday because I didn't want to wait any longer and have any more excuses, I'm 137 Lbs now, age 30 and height is 5'5. As I mentioned in other threads I carry my weight mostly around my thighs...so the fight for skinnier, more toned thigh begins:)
DAY 1- Yesterday May 22- Thursday
Breakfast: 1.5 spinach quiche cups
1 cup coffee with LF milk
Lunch: 3 turkey rolls, 2 pickles and 4 cubes of LF cheddar
Snack: 1 tea and 15 peanuts
Dinner: Thai chicken salad (restaurant) dressing on the side
Exercise: 25 minutes on elliptical + 15 minutes of Pilates
DAY 2- May 23- Friday
Breakfast: 1.5 spinach quiche cups
1 cup coffee with LF milk
Lunch: 3 Grilled Tiger shrimps with Salad + 1 Tea
Snack: 4 walnuts, 1 LF plain yogurt + 1 Cappuccino LF milk
Dinner: Bean Soup
Exercise: 25 minutes on elliptical + 15 minutes of Pilates
So far I feel great, I know it's only been 2 days but I feel stronger after my workout and somewhat smaller:) |

DAY 3-May24
Today I got up early and it was Sat morning, didn't feel like having anything to eat. I had a latte with LF milk and then started to workout. Din't feel like eating afterwards either so then I went out and had lunch outside. I had grilled fish and a small salad and I CHEATED and had about 3 poons of rice and a small bread bun (whole wheat and very small) but still I know I shouldn't have cheated, but to be honest I left the table hungry so I knew I had not stuffed myself.
Breakfast: 1 Latte with LF milk
Lunch: Grille fish, small salad, 3 spoons of rice and small HW bread
Snack: 1 tea and 15 almonds
Dinner: Tandoori chicken (oven baked), 2 spoons of humus, 1 low fat yogurt, 3 black olives and cucumber salad.
Dessert: Nothing, feel pretty full
Exercise: 25 minutes on elliptical + 15 minutes of Pilates and weights |

Day 4- May 25
I woke up today and was late for work, so I skipped breakfast, I know it was a horrible thing to do cause I paid the price later. It's getting close to that day of the month and I feel bloated and this may be the reason why I've only lost 0.5 Lb. I went to work and there was an event at work and one of my colleagues offered me some excellent choclate and hard candy...this was around 11 and I was starving so I had 2 small hard candies and one piece of chocolate :cry: I know I shouldn't have byt that was it. For the rest of the day here is what I ate and did, and when I got home I went on the scale and had lost 0.5 lbs. On a brighter side, i'm just gonna get up and make Mushroom Quiche for my breakfast for the entire week..no more excuses!!!!
Breakfast: Coffee with skim milk
Lunch: Ski, plan yogurt, 1 glass of tomato juice, 1 coffee
Snack: 1 more glass of tomato juice and 15 peanuts
Dinner: 1 grilled tomato, 1 chicken and one meat kabab
Dessert: 1 teaspoon sugar-free jam, 1 sugar-free hard candy and 1 tea
Exercise: 20 minute Elliptical, 10 minute lunges and weight

Its not the end of the world it you have a little piece of chocolate or a candy. Put it down to experience and carry on.
I can't stress enough how important organisation is on this diet/in this way of life. If you plan well, you do well because you're less tempted by the evils of non SBD foods. lol.
Skipping breakfast is never a good thing... its a lesson well learned.
Well done for getting this far and good luck for the future.

| Thanks Gemmy for your note. Yes I seriously think I saw how I could fall apart without breakfast, yesterday was a good example of that...but I didn't let it get to me. After I wrote in my journal last night I got up and made lunch for the next day and breakfast quiche for the entire week. Today at work once again I was surrounded by BAD food but because I was not hungry after having 2 small spinach quiche for breakfast, I just sipped on my tea and didn't touch the bad food, and I feel so GREAT! |

Day 5-May 26
Breakfast : 2 Spinach and mushroom Quiche, 1 LF milk
Snack: 1 Coffee
Lunch: 1 cup tomatoes Juice, ½ cup chickpea salad with low sugar/fat dressing + 1 tea
Snack: 1 LF plain Yogurt, 1 cup tomato juice, 4 walnut halves, 10 peanuts
Dinner: Chinese stir fry (veggies, chicken breast and soy sauce)
Dessert: 1 Tea, 20 pistachios, 1 low carb small hard candy
Exercise: 20 mins Elliptical, lunges, squats and weights 15 minutes |

Day 6- May 27
Breakfast : 2 Spinach and mushroom Quiche, 1 LF milk
Snack: 1 LF milk
Lunch: 1/2 cup chickpea salad and dressing + 1 LF yogurt
Snack: 15 peanuts and a tea
Dinner: 2 Lightly breaded veal Schitzel :cry: and salad
Dessert: 1 LF yogurt + 2 tsp sugar-free jam
Exercise: :oops: That time of the month, just had no energy |

Day 7- May 28
I woke up today and even though it is that time of the month and I'm bloated, I still felt lighter. I can feel the mucles in my arms getting bigger because of the workouts and my PJs feel loser. I still have not weighted myself, just waiting after the week is over cause I know I am bloated and don't want to be discouraged, in the meantime I'm keeping myself motivated by making a list of all the summer trendy clothes I want to buy SOON! :P
Breakfast : 2 Spinach and mushroom Quiche, 1 coffeeLF milk
Snack: 1 cup tomato juice + 1 coffee
Lunch: 1 LF yogurt + 6 walnut halves + 4 baby carrots
Dinner: Can of Tuna in water with mayo and salad
Dessert: 2 tsp of sugar free jam + 40 pistachio + 1 SF hard candy + 1 tea + 1 apricot
Exercise: 20 Mins Elleptical + 20 mins Pilates
MOOD: FELT GREAT AND CLOTHES FEEL LOOSER |

Day 8- May 29
Breakfast : 1.5 Spinach and mushroom Quiche, 1 coffeeLF milk
Snack: 1 coffee + 6 peanuts
Lunch: 1 cup tomato juice +1 LF yogurt
Snack: 1 cup freshly squeezed Orange Juice ( I was in need of sugar)
Dinner: 1/2 bowl of meat-less chili
Dessert: 1 vodka and cranberry (Needed it)
Exercise: In a lot of pain couldn't exercise
[b]MOOD: :P Feeling smaller and lighter, hubby also mentioned I'm shrinking so i find this motivating. It's the first day of my (taht time of the month) so I'm in a lot of PAIN :oops: but not crazing sweets as I usually do. Yesterday was my day 7 so I weighed myself and I have lost a total of 1.5 Lbs in 1 week being 135.5 Lbs, and i'm HAPPY. I just hope to continue loosing in the next 3 weeks before I go on summer holiday! I'm hoping to lose 1.5 lb per week which puts me at nearly 130 Lbs before I leave and if I continue working out at this rate I know I will be very toned because I'm seeing AMAZING changes in my body after only 1 week. THIS IS INDEED THE BEST DIET! |

Day 9- May 30
Breakfast : 2 Spinach and mushroom Quiche, 1 coffeeLF milk + 1 tsp of peanut butter
Snack: 1 coffee
Lunch: 2 Tbls of Tuna and salad and kidney bean +1 LF yogurt
Snack: ----
Dinner: 4 tablespoons of plain rice :cry: + few pieces of grilled meat and chicken + salad + 1 glass of red wine
Dessert: 1 coffee LF milk + 3 spoons of a chocolate cake :cry:
Exercise: 25 mins Elliptical + 20 mins Pilates
[b]MOOD: It's the weekend and I woke up at 6:30 in pain, stupid time of the month, it's always like this the first 2-3 days is hell for me. I had no energy, no appetite but I still had Breakfast, feel better now. I had guests over tonight so I really watched myself and didn't munch all the appetizers and food I had on the table. Although I cheated with few spoons of rice and few tastes of my hubbies chocolate cake and a glass of red wine, I sill think I did well, cause when my guests left at 11:30 I was starving and went to bed a little hungry. |

Day 10- May 31
Breakfast : 2 egg omelet with mushroom, 1 latte with LF milk
Snack: 15 peanuts + 15 almonds
Lunch: ----
Snack: ----
Dinner: Grilled chicken and meat and greek
Dessert: 1 tea + 1 hard candy
Exercise:
MOOD: I woke up hungry since I went to bed hungry last night but went out for breakfast and had a nice omelet. Skipped popcorn and soda in the movies and had a bag of nuts and water and GUM :P After that breakfast didn't feel like lunch and had dinner, no dessert and pretty full now. I have not weighed myself since i\m still on that time of the month, I wanna weigh myself in few days to see if there has been a change. Went shopping today, still felt BIG in all the summer cloths so ended up buying some accessories. I really hope I lose some more weight soon i the next 3 weeks. :roll: |

Day 11- June 1
Breakfast : 15 peanuts + 1 latte with LF milk
Snack: 1 tea
Lunch: 1 greek salad + 1 LF yogurt
Snack: 6 cubes of LF cheddar with olives + 4 pecans
Dinner: Chickpea salad, mayo and LF feta cheese
Dessert: 1 LF cafe latte
Exercise: 30 mins Elliptical + 20 pilates
WEIGHT DAY: Lost 1 pound, total of 2.5 lbs in 11 days, slow but still better than nothing :roll: |

Day 12- June 2
Breakfast : 1 latte with LF milk
Snack: 15 peanuts
Lunch: 1 fava bean salad + hummus and Baba ghanoush + no sugar ice tea
Snack: 10 peanuts + 1 LF Latte
Dinner: Avocado, shrimp Cesear Salad
Dessert: 1 LF yogurt with sugar free jam and 3 walnuts
Exercise: 30 mins Elliptical + 20 pilates
MOOD: Overall not in a good mood, my studies are on my mind and I feel very low and blue, still that :twisted: time of the month!!!!!! |

Day 13- June 3
Breakfast : 1 coffee LF milk + 15 peanuts
Snack: 1 coffee with milk
Lunch: 1 chickpea salad + feta
Snack: 15 almonds + 1 tomatoes juice
Dinner: Tandoori oven bake chicken breast + tomato Salad
Dessert: 1 sugar free candy and tea
Exercise: 20 mins Elliptical + 10 pilates
MOOD: Couldn't work out longer. I was full but had no energy and I know it was because I skipped breakfast, I paid for it cause I couldn't stand on the Elliptical longer than 20 mins...tomorrow I'm having that hard boiled egg no matter what:) Weight hasn't changed, still at 134.5 like yesterday. |
