so i am on my 7th week of running. i started doing 2 miles, now i am up to 4-5 about 5-6 times a week. for the first 3 i saw no weight loss and i was really frustrated.
i have noticed that i am looking leaner.
after 6 weeks i am down 10 pounds!!!
i tried on some jeans and i fit into a 6!
that is giving me motivation to keep going with sb and running.
how in the world can i get my arms to shrink though? with all this cardio i thought my arms would get smaller and they are still big! |

yeah i am. i dont get my bands out as often as i should. i probably get them out about 3 times a week. i dont have a dvd player so i couldnt watch the video that came with them. but i am trying to use them the best i know how. i do one with my stomach also.
i just thought cardio would be the quickest way to see results. |

Cardio will burn the fat "all over"........ but you have to work those muscles to tone them!
With your arms, remember you can't spot reduce.... but you can tone up those muscles......... which in turn will make your arms look smaller and leaner.
Strength training at least 3X weekly (for even 15 - 20 minutes) will help tremendously. I know nothing about the bands..... however you can pick up relatively inexpensive hand held weights at Shopko, Target or Wal Mart that you could use.... |
