Are Shellie Beans and Pork Roast cooked in a crock pot allowed on phase 1?

All beans, with the exception of baked beans are OK in all phases.

As long as the pork roast has all fat removed is fine.

also depends what else is in the recipe! ;) SB is all about the ingredients. You really should use pork tenderlon or pork loin as those are the allowed cuts of fresh pork.

What are Shellie Beans? and what else goes into them?

Shellie beans are a combination of green beans and kidney beans in the same can.

The pork roast is a very lean roast.

Other ingredients are garlic, onion and pepper.

sounds fine then, esp. if no added sugars, or only a minimal amount for preserving.

we always called the mature green beans [kentucky wonders, btw] "shelly" beans cause you let some stay on the vine with the intention of shelling them. They are so good!!!
