I would like to say I officially started this Yesterday, Phase 1
Breakfast-Veggie Ommelette, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes and egg beaters.
Lunch Salad with cucumbers and Vinegrette dressing
Dinner-Chicken enchiladas-Bad I will update todays meal later tonight, so far scrambled eggs for breakfast with pepper and lowfat cheese, snack was dry roasted peanuts. |

I guess I'll be the example of what not to do while trying to do the SB diet.
B-3eggs scrambled, with low fat cheese and pepper.
SN-Dry roasted Peanuts
L-Salad with cucumbers and italian dressing
SN-Dry Roasted Peanuts
D-Chilis- Cheeseburger with all the fixins including bun, chips and queso, and fries. :? Not very good. I got the weirdest feeling too ordering. I had this feeling like I was doing something wrong like buying drugs or doing something dishonest. I think that's a good thing. I really want to give this a fair chance. I keep making excuses for myself, and example today is I went to chilis because I got a gift certificate and I figured I might as well splurge. :( No one to blame but myself, hopefully I can turn the will power on. |

I seem to be having a hard time doing SB diet meals 3 meals a day.
Friday
B-eggs, lowfat cheese, pepper
SN-Dry roasted peanuts
L-Grilled chicken breast, salad with vinegrette dressing.
D-Black beans soup with low fat cheese and salad
Saturday
Veggie omelette, didn't taste very good, tried using frozen vegetables that had thawed, tasted gross I mostly only at the cheese and egges.
L-Lean steak with salad and vinegrette dressing
D-Veggie pizza but it still was not SBD.
Sunday
B-Salad with vinegrette dressing, I felt sick from eating salad for breakfast.
SN-Cliff bar-peanut butter crunch
L-Mexican food, chicken taco and chicken enchilada, rice, beans and chips and salsa
D-Chicken breast with pepper and a salad with vinegrette.
I haven't weighed myself today but I went to put a belt on and it was 3 notches tighter. It seems impossible. I'm going to weigh myself when I get home from work. I have been exercising pretty hard and I've only been drinking water with all of my meals. My workouts have been consisting of
Monday-Running 3miles
Tuesday-Sand Volleyball
Wed-20min brisk walk
Friday-Rock Climbing Gym
Saturday-Sand Volleyball
Sunday-Kayaking
I believe the increase in workout activity is what's leading to the lost inches. I'm trying to figure out how much I'll gain in muscle while losing fat. I swear I can see a difference in my face and gut but I beleive it psychological. I'm going to try to be more strict to sticking to phase 1 foods for all 3 meals throughout the day. I've found if I know I'm going to do something strenuous, ie, volleyball, rock climbing anything that is a cardiovascular exercise I will need to increase my intake of food. I've always been really good at drinking a lot of water. I drink only water with all my meals. I've been drinking at least 8 glasses a day. |

I was actually pretty good yesterday,
B-Eggs-lowfat cheese wtih pepper
L-Salad with cucumbers and vinegrette
SN-Dry Roasted Peanuts
Played Sand Volleyball, there was too much of a gap between my last meal and volleyball I felt kind of out of it.
D-veggie omelette, mushrooms, lowfat cheese, bell peppers. I found that bell peppers upset my stomach a little.
After looking at the food list I realized I'm not eating enough. I never feel that hungry. I need to find something to eat as a vegetable in the morning. I would eat salad, but I don't like it without dressing and the vinagrette upsets my stomache if I eat it in the morning. I will try to incorporate my morning veggies into omelettes. |

Are you still on Phase 1 right now? You seem to be a super active person... as opposed to me I mean. LOL. I don't really set time aside to exercise, I just chase children around all day long and try to be as active as I can.
If you're still on phase 1 and being so active, just try adding more protein. I see lots of eggs, cheese and chicken in your diet plans, but it probably wouldn't hurt to add some black beans to your chicken salad, or even some hummus (made from chickpeas) with your veggies... it's actually really good too. Obviously just on the days when you know you're going to be doing a lot!
Seems like things are going well for you, how much have you lost so far and what day are you on? |

Thank you for the suggustions, so far I've lost 3lbs. I've been doing this for just about 7days today I had
B-2 eggs over easy
SN-Dry roasted peanuts
L-Turkey burger on whole wheat bun, let-tomato, salad and cucumbers, vinagrette dressing.

D-Lean chicken breast and salad
Went to the rock climbing gym, I think I kind of exhausted myself, I'm going to take 2 days off, I'm getting the Wii fit tomorrow, I'll mess around on that. |

So I'm 4lbs lighter than when I started, :lol: I want to move to phase 2 now. I miss fruit and english muffins.
yesterday I had
B-Veggie omelette,-tomatos, mushrooms, and peppers
L-Huge salad with brocolli, cucumbers and vinagrette
D-Lean steak and salad with you guessed it, vinatrette
I keep forgetting my dry roasted peanuts so no snacks yesterday. I forgot them today too. :( F-AN-A!
Worked out on the Wii Fit for awhile, I think this thing will be a good tool, it gives you a workout and is a scale. It will be great on those days it's raining or really hot outside. |

Meh, getting tired of this diet really quick. I've kind of plateau'd on the weight loss. I haven't been eating snacks the last two days or working out that much except for the Wii fit. I actually pulled my calf muscle playing it. I think I played it too long. I put in about 2hrs. Here's what I ate yesterday
B-2eggs over easy, cucumber spear with a little salt.
L-A small, Tomato and Basil Pizza
D-Salmon with vegetables and yogurt for desert.
I'm going to start going by the Wii fit weight, it has me at 181 right now. I really think I'm somewhere around 185. I'm going to monitor my weight loss by how many lbs I lose over the next few weeks. I might binge a little this weekend, it's my wifes birthday and we're going to a nice Italian place. |

| All I did was stray from SBD this weekend. It was my wifes birthday and my inlaws were in town. We went out to eat Sat-Sun and I went to a Party Friday night. When it was all said and done I had gained 6lbs. I don't even know how it was that much. No one to blame but myself, anyways, I'm just moving to phase 2. I'm not going to do phase 1 all over again. I was actually decent yesterday I did have a hotdog and a turkey burger both with buns. I'm going to work on sticking to the phase 2 and see what happens. I'm sure I've already lost weight from Monday. I will post my meals and weight tomorrow night. THe meals for the weekend that destroyed me were, pizza, lasagna, a skillet breakfast with patatoes, and a cheeseburger dinner with double cheeseburgers and all the fixins. I think pizza and cheeseburgers pack on the weight the fastest. |

Still sucking, I did lose 3lbs from monday but that makes my overall weight loss from starting the diet only 3lbs. Yesterday for meals I had
B-2 eggs with yogurt
SN-Dry Roasted nuts
L-Salad with brocolli and cucumbers, vinegrette dressing
SN-Dry Roasted Nuts
D-Turkey burger on whole wheat bun, lett-tomato, mustard and Ketchup, with jalapeno chips and salad with vinegrette dressing.
Strawberry shortcake for desert. I've learned my will power is not as good as I thought.
Workouts so far,
Mon 30min Walk
Tue Rock climbing, I was at the gym about 2hrs but really only climbed about an hour and 20min. I'll probably go running today. I can see what's making me gain weight now. It's the poor lunch food choices, before eating salads, I was eating cheeseburgers with fries or onion rings, if I didn't have that, I would have pizza. Also the snacking on bad foods especially late at night. |

I'm going into a slow suckfest, Yesterdays meal
B-WW Toast with butter and honey.
L-chicken sandwich with bbq sauce and lett-tomato with a salad and vinagrette, cucumbers, brocolli and carrots.
D-Tried the WW pizza from papa johns, Only ate 3 slices, I could have eaten the whole thing, toppings, mushrooms, roma tomatoes, green peppers. I ate a salad afterwards with vinagrette. |

D-Breakfast burrito, low carb tortilla, peppers, 3eggs, salad mixed in, turkey bacon and eVO. Half a cucumber for desert.

On friday I had 2 eggs over easy and yogurt
For lunch I had a chicken sandwich and onion rings
D-Portabello mushroom with low carb speghetti sauce and low fat fetta cheese and mozzerella. It was pretty good. Snacks were dry roasted peanuts.
Saturday
B-2 eggs over easy, WW toast, sugar free jelly
L-thick burger meal from hardees
D-Mellow mushroom pizza and salad
Snack was nothing really, I did have a soda.
Sunday
2-eggs over easy, WW toast and potatoes
D-cheese fries, hamburger with bun, lett-tomato and salad.
Snack was some salt and pepper potato chips. |

Weighed myself this morning and somehow I haven't gained weight. Yesterday
B-Yogurt
L-half of a philly cheesesteak and brocolli
D-2 brahts on a WW bun, cucumber and jalapeno chips.
No snacks. |
