Well, I am a bit nervous too... The only thing I've changed so far is I've allowed myself a glass or two of my favorite merlo (was so looking forward to that) with dinner and I had two strawberries yesterday.

I probably won't add any bread, pasta or sweets back into my diet for a long time. I just can't eat those things in moderation. I wish I could, but unfortunately, when I open the door to treats, I wind up eating a whole container or icing by myself! LOL:)

I finally FEEL like I've lost weight, and I can fit my jeans again. YEAH!!! I'm looking good!

the wine is fine, but it is not adding anything of nutritional value to your menus. and 2 strawberries does not approach a "serving" at 3/4 cup. you really need to start adding nutritious P2 foods into your menu according to the transtitioning sticky thread above. you are really just doing p1 with wine. there are lots of good P2 foods other than breads, pastas and sweets/treats.

You didn't see these strawberries... they were huge!

I really want to take my time adding other foods in... I've been through these phases before and was very successful. It's important to take it slow, I've found. More foods will come, but I will be careful about it.

Oh yeah, and the wine is not meant for a nutritional value... It's simply a treat, as far as I'm concerned. I love wine with my dinner, and I really missed it over the past few weeks.

It's important to do a true transition into eating the full sprectrum of foods. That's how it becomes a lifestyle change rather than "just another quickie diet" that didn't work longterm.
