Does anyone have protein shakes for breakfast? I am looking for a recipe.

I was explaining SB to someone the other day, and I said "A general idea to keep in mind is that often, the longer it takes to chew something, the better it is for you. A whole apple is better than applesauce, raw broccoli is better than cream of broccoli soup, etc..." Before I could even clarify that this is by no means a rule, and just something that helps me sometimes, they replied "So, fatback would be ok because it's chewy and takes a while to eat, right?"

I stared at them for a second and said "Maybe you're not ready for South Beach."

I don't even know what fatback is, but it doesn't sound very Beachy!!!

It's the top layer of fat on a pig. It's deep fried to make cracklings. It can also be used to make lard.
